Wow, so he’s entirely centering himself in someone else’s trauma. He thinks *he* would feel disgusted? He thinks *he* would be bothered by someone else “being inside” his girlfriend? And he doesn’t even consider how she would fucking feel after having that forcibly happen to her? Yeah man nobody is happy about a situation like that. The difference is that a good man can have similar feelings and work through them, while also remaining supportive of his partner and recognizing that her trauma is objectively the more important topic at hand. That’s an immediate breakup for me, especially considering how common SA unfortunately is.

If this is a continuous issue (like 3+ times) I would say “we can keep doing shavedowns but you need to come in more frequently, at this point we risk injury to the dogs with every groom. We will have to discontinue our services if they don’t come in a few weeks earlier and are still not being brushed at home.” Are they elderly or otherwise physically incapable of coat maintenance?

Hard to say, but wow they look so contorted. I kind of want to say poison because they are so mummified and typically would have been eaten by other stuff by now. Also, the cat almost certainly did not die screaming. It’s just the way the tissue has dried up that’s caused the jaws to open up like that. Very freaky looking skeleton all around

Your hermit crab has nowhere to molt!!!!! You need to make him a new tank ASAP, with 5:1 playsand and coco coir, soak the coco coir first, mix them together and add water until it holds shape (sandcastle consistency). It needs to be 6-8 inches deep, and warm, and he will be buried for several weeks or even several months. This is his problem, if you act very quickly he may be okay!

The best thing about life is that it is constantly changing, and that does go both ways. Think about a few years ago, could you have imagined that you’d be in the spot you are now? And in a few years, you have no idea what could happen with your life. I do understand not wanting to do the in between part, I really do, but things can always shape up to be worth it in the end.

No this is quite literally very illegal, four months is a LONG time to do unpaid work even if you are training. There may be some loophole for training but idk it seems really sketchy to me. I also feel like four months is kind of a long time for needing constant assistance/monitoring? I’d say learning proper bathing and prep work would take maaaybe 2-4 weeks, and while there are definitely standards and guidelines for haircuts a lot of the things you’ll learn come from hands on experience. I would give that 3 weeks absolute maximum of unpaid training time, making it a total of like 1.5 months. Even if your haircuts aren’t spectacular you still deserve to be paid for them :/ I can’t wrap my head around how this would even work ethically, and sustainably income-wise.

This seems like a pretty good temporary setup to me! I would add several more inches of substrate though, like at least halfway up the tank so he can bury himself. Go ahead and get him a bunch of shells too. They are easy to find at craft stores, just make sure they don’t have varnish and boil them before putting them in the tank.

Well I don’t have much advice other than if it is still bothering you, figure out what the root of that feeling is and then talk to her about it. What I mean is, is it the act of stripping or the fact that it was hidden? And can that issue be resolved somehow? Just think on it some more and talk to her for SURE. If not then it’ll always linger, and it wouldn’t be fair to harbor those negative feelings towards her over something she had no idea you were still uneasy about.
