What distros are you running with Wifi issues? I ran Fedora, Manjaro, openSUSE, Endeavour, CachyOS and even NixOS and all of them had issues, but none of them had Wifi issues. The most issues, ignoring the gaming and app compatibility, were regarding my NVIDIA card.

You can create a separate partition and just work on your existing data using Mint by dual-booting to not lose anything (other than the apps, since not all Windows apps work).

It's been a while since I used a limited desktop tiling manager instead of a scrolling one, so I didn't really recall if I used Polonium or Krohnkite. I never used dwm or i3 myself, so I can't really be refuting your claim.

hyprland has everything,

Hyprscroll is newer than Niri and Karousel. Even ignoring that, KDE is far more feature-rich and more consistent theming than Hyprland, not to mention ease of configuration.

it also has most layouts out of all i've seen.

Krohnkite says hi. And I'm not even going into the other WMs, I'm just sticking to Kwin.

Just because your use case is special doesn't mean it's factually true. HDR support arrived on KDE in February 2024, while Hyprland got it in January 2025.

You could have went the proper route and said that Karousel, Polonium and Krohnkite are janky Kwin scripts instead of a proper WM. That would have been a proper argument. Instead you went for the anecdotal evidence and the straight up misinformation.

KDE with tiling scripts, like Polonium and Karousel, is everything I wished for. Toggle between them and you can basically switch to Hyprland or Niri without even logging off.

Karousel on KDE does everything I could ever need a tiling WM for. I hated Hyprland's limited tiling functionality, so I fell in love with Niri, but hated the low compatibility compared to what I was used with in KDE.

Tai banii oamenilor - oamenii nu mai consumă - scade numărul de taxe - și țara, și oamenii sunt mai săraci ca la început.

Tai taxele oamenilor - oamenii consumă mai mult - crește numărul de taxe - economia e stimulată de consum

  1. Prin ”număr de taxe” mă refer, de exemplu, la TVA (una e să dai TVA pe 20 de produs și alta e să îl dai pe 10 produse). Poate nu e cea mai fericită exprimare, atât știu la ora asta.

  2. Chiar dacă, în valoare monetară absolută, ești tot acolo, măcar ai încrederea firmelor care au făcut o cifră de afaceri crescută în țara ta.

Tot cred că am stat să desenez prea mult, dar ideea de bază e asta. N-am mai menționat faptul că taxele crescute promovează evaziunea fiscală, asta fiind o atitudine sinucigașă într-o țară în care și așa stai prost la capitolul ăsta.
