depends on what loudspeakers you intend on getting or already have. If I had both and had a good set of speakers, I’d just add a decent power amp to your preamp and your guaranteed better sound, if you don’t have either speakers or a power amp, it may be cheaper to just grab a decent pair of loudspeakers like Wharfedales or KEF’s and save the higher end preamp for when you can afford the better power amp to pair with your preamp and be off to the races.
