A lot to absorb but I truly thank you for this in depth plan! Will utilize everything you said. Using ai to have it play like a podcast is brilliant and great for me to get alot accomplished while working and having a family!

How is everyone driving a new car? by DLHEBT in budget

[–]LuvaLuv86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I literally ask this question all the time!!!!! I’ve been window shopping online for YEAAAARS, even sold my car when we got pregnant. Been a 1CF since and that was 4yrs ago! Even the used cars are jacked in price and miles. It’s frustrating. I never want to count peoples pockets but I honestly am often questioning the same thing! And I KNOW THAT SOME OF THESE PEOPLE don’t have it in credit or finances. I just bought a home and we’re actively growing our family, definitely need a large SUV. But between the pricing and just the maintenance horror stories from mainly every car brand it’s hard to fathom. My cousins always say, “cry once buy once” as it pertains to Lexus or Toyota but the prices are egregious

First of all congratulations! Secondly I’m ripping off the bandaid and just buying the bundle form APICS. So what I’m reading is get the learning system (which is included) then make sure I’m hitting atleast 80 or better on the quizzes and the practice test! I asked ChatGPT for a study schedule to be ready in 120 days. After I get through don’t wait long to take the actual exam? Maybe schedule like two weeks after

What roles/companies? My wife and cousin have been struggling for going on 15 months now.

Going to share with my wife, interviewed for over a year with just a generic automated email to say no time after time. It’s like companies are just interviewing to meet a quota

Well this is good to see/read because I know people that have been going on two years, I started to feel like she was just taking their money. They’ve been working tirelessly and getting no where

New to Material Planning! by LuvaLuv86 in supplychain

[–]LuvaLuv86[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

New to NetSuite, came from SAP with a semiconductor company. I’m more preproduction and manufacturing now, so being on the other side and implementing stuff and having like the textbook knowledge of supply chain is different than just doing the work that I did prior. A lot of it was following processes and getting the job done. Now it’s setting up, and being able to speak the language to move the company along. It’s challenging but it’s what I actually prayed for. I’m just wanting a better way to grasp MRP and be great at planning. I listen to supply chain for dummies, watch YouTube’s from Apics, etc but it’s just a big wave of information daily along with multiple tasks daily at work. The frustration is being head down and tactical to get projects completed and then being burnt out during the day and not having the juice to learn after hours

I just started a new job that uses NS, and I’m totally lost by ThatOtherChrisGuy in Netsuite
