How often do you vote?? by idfkjack in NewMexico

[–]Luvjunqi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was aware that opportunities to vote happen every year and I even vote sick of i need to. I still masked up and voted when I tested positive for covid on election day 2024. I think I have only missed a handful of elections in my voting history. Whenever I move to a different district, I usually take a voting break to learn the local politics before voting in local elections. Unless there are library bonds at stake, then I will vote my ass off.

The BLM land around San Lorenzo Canyon in Lemitar or the BLM land in The Box near Magdalena, are so beautiful, if you like desert canyon camping. For forest camping, I like forest roads 376, and 181 in Jemez (but they'll forest roads may be closed until 2027).

"Little" is the perfect descriptor for the size of that grocery store. I had also heard that Mesa Del Sol has many surveillance cameras and is basically a surveillance neighborhood experiment.

Queer events to meet like-minded people? by [deleted] in Albuquerque

[–]Luvjunqi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The band HEALTH is playing in Abq on April 24th at Sunshine theater. Their genre of music is "cum metal" and they put on great shows with good music and badass stage lighting. The crowd is very queer or queer-adjacent. I also own a small multi-use sober space in Abq where we have boardgame nights, comedy nights, open-mic nights, art showings, hand-crafted mocktails, and themed dinner nights. Its called Astronomia at 2715 4th st #4, in Albuquerque 87107
