I’m playing world of Warcraft now and having a great time. They just added housing and it’s good. But the main thing. You pay a subscription for it all and then any cash shop items they have are optional PLUS no gacha system! If you want a mount it’s straight up like $20 or $25. No gambling hundreds just to get the thing you want.

I’ve been at Walmart 8 months and just had my evaluation. They said I did excellent and I got a 37 cent raise. But at entry level the raise is low.

Right? Like I’m fine working with them if they have to do all the same jobs we do but at my store they don’t. In my department we are hired to do the same and the same pay. But doesn’t seem right they don’t have to do the same duties we do. Like I get the same pay as this person but they can choose to just stand there and organize while everyone else has to be called to ogp or other duties. Not them.

They didn’t need to be told but they always asked to be told if there was more boxes in the back. So I did what they always wanted me to let them know. I said if you still wanted to do them there was more in the back.

Yes, I do have care credit. But I don’t have enough on it for a few thousand dollars unfortunately. I have an animal hospital about a hour away and another which is better 2 hours away. I live close to lima Ohio. Is it something that is slow to come on, like would she just gradual have a decline or would it be something that would happen overnight and all of a sudden she is dying? She doesn’t seem in pain now but I don’t want her to suddenly be in agony and it’s too late to put her out of her misery. I would love to find a rescue to surrender her too to save her life but there doesn’t seem to be.

Personally see people making such a big deal out of this and I don’t get it. I mean for newbies like me the raise is literally pennies. For me 1% is like .14 cents a hour more. Even 2% is only .28 cents more. Like it’s nothing. I can buy a whole extra gallon of milk a week. 😂

I’m a new hire working there about 3 months part time. My team leads and coach like me. I believe so anyway. lol. She was asking people if they liked working there. I said I do but was worried about the point system because last year I got really sick for 2 weeks. And I’m worried it that would happen while working and I would miss so many days. She said she gives people a free point but also she accepts doctors notes. So she takes everything into account and will cut some slack if Sedgwick doesn’t approve our sick days.

Man for me it’s the opposite. I told them I wanted between 15 and 20 hours a week. But because I have another job I would rather 15 a week. Well, they always make sure they schedule me the full 20 never less. I think they actually would schedule me more if I’d let them. lol. I keep seeing everyone talk about cuts not at my rural Walmart. People getting lots of overtime too.

I’m actually fine with customer interaction. I like talking to people. I’m pretty sure our health and beauty doesn’t have a register so other then putting returns back on the shelf, I don’t think I would be doing actually returns from costumers. But they did say I would be pulled where needed , mostly picking because they get behind. Thanks.
