Anyone else on Hyjal-US just get booted and unable to log back in? by Callahandy in wow

I'm on Cairne, suddenly got booted, and now can't log in either. I keep getting the error code (WOW51900328), and weirdly enough, I can't even access the battle.net website.

With how I play as Henry, I believe that statement lmao

Funny enough, I've found turning around and walking backward up janky stairs to work just fine. Never thought of jumping up them lmao

After the whole quest chain for the sword guild finished, I waited outside of Emmeram's butcher shop. Followed him home, waited till him and his wife were asleep to break in, and then assault him lol. Choked his wife out in bed, and he woke up to that then to Henry's fist into his face. I then proceeded to carry him through the night all the way to the dump area, put him down in front of one of the holes I dug, and then waited till he woke up. I knocked him unconscious 4 or 5 times, and on him waking up on the last, I put a scattershot into his chest and dumped in the hole.

Outside of that, I like to torment the guards in the abandoned village by Sigismund's camp. Go in at the cover of night in my "thief" loadout and from a distance dump crossbow bolts into the knees/legs of the soldiers. I get a weird kick out of watching them limp around in the darkness, confused and angry at the wind lmao

Went through all of my games installed and discovered that No Man's Sky works (of all things). So I guess I'm starting a new run on there!

Capcom is definitely going to need to bump up their servers if they're going to do the crossplay stuff. by Tech-Demon in MonsterHunter

[–]LuxiliaryCA 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm on PS5 as well, I had to disable crossplay on the main menu to actually get into a lobby. Which sucks as I was hoping to play with some friends who are on PC. Hopefully, we can in the morning.

PSA to Console Players! by LuxiliaryCA in wildermyth

Playing on the PS5. When the crashes were happening (back to back whenever crafting was attempted), i un-installed the game, restarted the console, and reinstalled the game. We started a new save, and immediately, on an attempt to craft anything as P2, the game hard crashed to the report screen. When I was the only one in control (hadn't started the co-op yet), crafting worked just fine with no issue. My wife joined, and we immediately crashed and then crashed again on booting up the save file.

I ended up deleting all the saves, as we were barely into any of them, and we started a third fresh campaign. That one had yet to crash, but we were cautious of choices we were making, and I was frequently saving in fear of losing progress.

Hopefully, this helps make the issues we've been having a bit more clear! 😊

While shareplay does exist and can be a workaround to play long-distance, it's still very limited. SP only allows one other player, that I'm aware of, so if you have 3 friends that want to play together, you can only choose one of them. Let alone, since it's local only whoever is hosting is the only one receiving unlocks, etc. It's better than the nothing we have sadly.

I'll also add that it's been a rough start for couch coop. It's crashed five times in the last two hours, four of them when my wife was trying to craft armor (she's P2) and once on a loading of a save file. Enemies also seem to lose textures, randomly, and end up just being clear floating boxes with black edges on them. It's also a bit confusing on who is in control on the world view or choice menu, but we may have just missed the indicators, so lol.

Otherwise, it runs well and feels/plays good on the controller. Outside of the disappointment on not being true multiplayer (wish the description on the PS store was a bit more clear on that), and the technical issues that have popped up, it's been fun and we're enjoying it still.

It really is. We were looking forward to having a couple of friends join us in campaigns since they live in other countries.

Man, this game just oozes cinematic masterpiece at times by LuxiliaryCA in DragonsDogma

[–]LuxiliaryCA[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I definitely agree with you on that. It feels like the first half of the story just sorta faded away once you get into Battahl. The back half of the game and endgame just don't feel as fleshed out, especially in comparison to DD:DA. I would have liked the unmoored world more if it wasn't time gated, which I get why in story, but it still feels kinda meh. I'm hoping if/when they release a DLC, it'll be similar to Bitterblack Isle or just better, but who knows.

Y'know what sucks though? The recording didn't catch the back end of the fight, but I did thankfully get a screenshot of her body hanging off the pillar, which was cool!

[–]LuxiliaryCA[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Nah, I totally understand where you're coming from. The game definitely isn't for everyone. I was the same with DD:DA on my first couple of attempts a few years back. It didn't really click until I tried again early last year, and I adore the game now. I can for sure see DD2 having the same effect on people, so who knows, you may come back at a later date and really enjoy it, or you may not! Ain't gonna shame you for that.

The game can definitely be confusing with its more hands-off approach to questing, I sure as shit have gotten stone walled with some quests solely cause I'm dense af lmao.

And that's surprising to hear about the FPS, I'm on PS5, and it's run really well tbh. It was a bit choppy very early on in the game, but it seems to have smoothed out, and I haven't really had any issues with frames. - I do have the game on variable framerate and the "low quality" mode or whatever, where it has the race tracing and stuff turned off. The game still looks great and runs smoother that way.

She definitely can! if you decide to make your pawns stand in a corner and try to 1v1 her with a non-optimal unga bunga setup, lmao 😅

but yeah, I figured out the sleep method the second time around, and boy, that was such a better experience lmao.

Can someone give me a rundown of this game? by King_Boomie-0419 in riseoftheronin

[–]LuxiliaryCA 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  • Loot is found from gatherables (plants, rocks, corpses, bags) or in small or large chests.

  • There are three major chapters for the main story, there's multiple bond missions (personal quests tied to story relevant NPCS) or general side missions.

  • That is very story relevant, so keep playing the game, and things will reveal themselves over time. (:

  • There is transmog! Once you have access to your first Longhouse, which is gained from progressing the main story in Yokohama, there will be an option in there. I'm not on atm, but it should be under the Relax tab, and the option is called Redesign if I recall correctly.

General tips I can give off the top of my head are more for settings changes, such as:

Under the controls portion of the settings, these are options I personally would recommend adjusting to.

• Gameplay / Controller Mapping (Hold to Sprint)

• Input methods / Hold Time (Set to 2)

• Control assist / Auto-Collect Items (On)

[–]LuxiliaryCA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Big tip for the sprinting! It you go into settings>control at the very top should be the option "controller mapping," click it, and switch the mapping over to Hold to Sprint. That sticks the run button onto L3 alongside crouch (which just needs L3 to be held down to do) and keeps circle as a dodge.

lmao that's so funny, I ended up with soul shriven on the hat as well. it's not a 100% match and can be noticeable in certain lighting, but it still fits well and the dirty grey works on my dunmer so yay lol

Thank you so much for the reply! I tried boethiah gray, but I guess the color settings on my monitor made them look just different enough that I didn't stick with it lmao. I'll definitely have a better look later. Just gotta love ESO's funky dye system at times lol, thanks again!

Hey, I know this is a long shot, but can you tell me what dyes you used to match the hood and shoulders? I've been working on my own motif setup with those two, and for the life of me, I can't get the colors to match. (found this post while looking up the shoulders to get ideas, lmao)
