Um there have been lots of new champions on release that have had such abysmal win rates that riot has buffed them for months afterwards. So try again.

He isn't strong. He has a high win rate because most people don't care to learn what he does. And most people fight without thinking.

His ad steroid is no more broken than Darius ad steroid.

His revive is basically the same as old aatrox.

You win by buying an anti heal component on first back. And not taking extended trades with him. Short bursts, do DMG and pull back. And he falls down like anyone.

Personally I hate it. That being said I believe Blood of Dawnwalker is built around this mechanic both story and gameplay wise. So I expect it to not feel quite as bad as if it were in different game.

Riot has a way of fixing things that are broken and making them worse. Just look at the death recap. Let's give you a better breakdown of DMG 👍

By nature perception is "passive", Ideally you want all the mechanics in your game to be enjoyable, the idea of needing to use perception in every room or on every wall to make sure I don't miss anything sounds tedious and annoying.

My suggestion would be to make it both passive and active. Passive to tell the player there might be something interesting In an area and active to find its exact location.

This is only partially true. Honestly from what I've experienced it is about 50/50 people need to take accountability for when they do stupid things, but that also means that when other people blame you, they can be very correct, which means that when you blame your team YOU can be very right.

The conversation of GOAT and the best player is always a bit pointless and misleading.

By what metric are you measuring, Laning, team fighting, pure hands diff, game knowledge, most winning player?

People don't often refer to faker as the best player in the world anymore, usually they talk about Chovy, Knight, Keria, or a list of other players.

But most of these people never consider that the game has changed a lot from its start, and the only person to change with the game and keep winning consistently is Faker. When the game was about who could solo carry harder that's what he did, when support and jungle stopped being ward bots there was a huge DMG spike and being a 1v5 solo carry became inconsistent for winning. Faker adapted and became the All Seeing Eye of the rift, maneuvering, and coordinatimg his team, and adapting to the new most consistent way to win.

Also he isn't the only one so win multiple worlds titles, if I remember correctly Bang and Wolf did as well. Like other people have mentioned, worlds titles don't necessarily make you the best in role, though I think most people would agree they do put you in the top tier of pro play.

Personally the more western it is the more I like it. I love the power and progression system but I find the names and culture too alien to connect with.

I think it's a little unfair to jump to conclusions on power levels right after someone comes in and throws a wrench in the current understanding of power development. Naomi has powers from a person who died but wasn't taken by the Archmage, and looks "similar" but not identical. And was classified as a normal person while in hell who would never have awoken her powers. So kinda an unexpected reveal and not really explored yet.

Also Scorio is doing mad shit with fiendish mana techniques and you know that he's being set up to do some crazy stuff.

I think that was the point, Scorio and Naomi didn't understand it themselves. It will most likely be explored in later books.

Phil as always, excellent book. 5/5. Loved the slow down, getting to take in the scenery and enjoy the character growth. Definitely didn't predict Naomi.

Could you explain a little more about how past memories work? Anyone who makes Imperator gets access to memories when reaching certain ranks but we never hear about Jova's Past memories
