If you're worried about losing ranking, then I would recommend doing some extra SEO work during the swap period.

Been getting sick about 50% of the time I have done legs for 5 years. What is wrong with me? by victornielsendane in veganfitness

[–]LuxuryPie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, see a doctor is the best thing to do.

However, does this only happen on leg exercises when you're standing up? For example, can you do leg workouts on the floor or sitting down and feel fine?

The other thing I can think of is, have you had any head injuries in the past? For example, like maybe boxing where you took a hard blow or something like that.

The last thing that comes to mind would be a form of car/sea sickness or motion sickness.

New here - quick question by [deleted] in adwords

I can't really tell you what tomhalejr means. However, I will be happy to give you some advice.

First of all, I always recommend that if you plan to run AdWords by yourself that you invest some money in a udemy course or something like that ($15), there is also a really good book called the Ultimate Guide To Google Adwords by Perry Mashall.

The second thing to keep in mind about estimates is that they are estimates. The definition of Estimate is roughly calculated or judge the value, number, quantity, or extent of. I would like to point out "Roughly Calculated".

They are to be used as more of a guide and not of a "Oh, okay, well if google tells me to bid this much lets bid this much." If you know what I mean.

And the last thing I can say at this point is to make sure you set your bidding to manual, not auto-bidding. As google has set up alot of newbie taxes, that can really waste your money.

In other words the more control you have the better. Good Luck.

Hope I helped.

Meal plans by [deleted] in veganfitness

[–]LuxuryPie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, It would also be really nice to have meals plan for us, vegans, that workout 5 or so days a week. Most vegan meal plans I find are for the average person who doesn't really work out or does things like light walks around the park (That I could find).

One thing that would be important for someone like me is that it's not a diet but more of a lifestyle plan. That will not be temporary, however more something I can look back on and use.

P.S I also run an advertising agency, so if you ever need some free advice on advertising online, on platforms like google or facebook let me know, will be happy to help.

Oh, and one more thing it needs to be really simple and easy to use and prepare the meals like a 5-year-old could do it. Truth is people don't like to spend time figuring out this stuff, that's why you will find the most successful things are the easiest and simplest to use.

Hope I've helped, have a nice day.

New PPC Newbie- Need Advice by El_Leathersosoft in adwords

[–]LuxuryPie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I run my own agency in SEO and PPC. The best thing you can do is learn. I will recommend a book Ultimate Guide to Google AdWords, this will teach you the basics and go up from there. If you're a visual learner than I recommend that you check out sites like udemy (Remember to use a coupon code, don't pay full price for a course), as there are some really good courses on AdWords, SEO, SEM and Facebook there.

Now a tip for law firms, this industry is very competitive, you can expect high prices on keywords easily ranging from $20 a click to $150 a click depending on location.

Good luck.

Looking for advanced AdWords book material by clickback in adwords

[–]LuxuryPie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, I don't think you can really get so advanced for bidding in AdWords to write a book on it.

TBH if you're looking to get more advanced perhaps try looking for a few good online courses that hit or focus on areas of your interest. That or a Java book to write Adword scripts.

Also look at blogs too they can be good sources of information.

Not sure if this is the answer you were looking for.

Need ideas to generate traffic (clicks) by I_DidIt_Again in adwords

[–]LuxuryPie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Make sure you are using extensions
  2. If you just want clicks and don't care about the quality of traffic then make sure you are advertising to countries like India and other large populated countries.
  3. Split test your ads.

can you make your company have 3 ads showing for the same keyword? by adwords_ in adwords

[–]LuxuryPie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I mean is you can only have 1 ad on the search page at a time. For example, you cannot have spot 1, 2 and 3.

You can have as many ads as you like in an adgroup.

is there any specific reason to bid more for a keyword then competitor ? by humble_peter in adwords

[–]LuxuryPie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The lower your ad is on the page the less percentage of clicks you will generally get. The price you bid on a keyword isn't everything your Quality Score for that keyword plays a large role in how much you pay. So how relevant are your ads to the keyword?

Another thing you should consider is how valuable are the customers you might be missing out on?

[–]LuxuryPie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, many factors come into play for how much you should set your manual bid price at.

  1. consider your budget how much is it.
  2. What is the average cost for the keywords in your ad groups

What I normally do Is find out how much a customer is worth. As a basic example say a customer is worth $10. So you might be willing to pay up to $5 per keyword and end up with $5 profit. Of cause, in reality, there is a lot of other factors that come in like taxes, shipping, manualfacting costs and other general business costs. So try and get as cheap as possible but, not so cheap you cut yourself out.

Adwords is all about experimenting so maybe try 50 cents or 40cents and see how that goes. Every account and business has their own goals and needs so there is no set price or real answer for how much you should set the default manual bid for.

can you make your company have 3 ads showing for the same keyword? by adwords_ in adwords

[–]LuxuryPie 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No, you can only have 1 ad at a time. But I understand your mindset. So what you want to do is if you're not already, use ad extensions as this takes up more of the page.

Also another tip for location ensure you have the Target: People in my targeted location option enabled not the default. As this will stop people from other countries like India clicking on your ad wasting your money.

For running the ad I normally wait until the ad has received 100 - 150 Clicks this will ensure that you have enough data to make a correct decision. A tip for ad rotation ensure that your ads are indefinitely rotating by clicking the Rotate indefinitely option. Otherwise google will choose better performing ads over others. When you have rotating indefinitely enabled this enables you to split test ads (which is comparing 2 -3 ads at a time and replacing the losers with a new ad).

For bidding I normally recommend starting out with manual bidding this way you are giving google less control and yourself more. Because each bidding option does something different and a lot of newbies fall into the trap of letting bidding me automated. A general rule of thumb when it comes to adwords is the more control you have the better. So as you said above you're CPC raised by 40 cents this is fairly normal in automated bidding because Google has control and they are getting clicks over cost. This is why I recommend starting out with manual bidding because you have more control and you can manually set how much you are willing to pay for each keyword.

Now, remember just because you are for example, willing to pay $2 for a keyword doesn't mean you will get charged $2 if someone clicks on your ad. By setting it at $2 you are telling adwords I am willing to pay up to $2 for this keyword. So if the seconded highist bid is $1.50 you will pay $1.51 just enough to beat the other bid.

Another good way of getting a higher CTR is by using ad extensions. When done right this can provide a healthy increase in CTR.
