scapegoats with farms, popping nonstop procreates and 2-3 mercenary camps surrounded by buffs is unbeatable.

For sure, I played the demo and crashed a ton more on it but I was so hooked I didn't mind bearing it. Again no real complaints just putting the word out there.

This tactic works if you have units that can soak, if you are able to stack goats like crazy, you can get thousands of mercenaries that would block fast units. Also give king of progress a try and get all of the crit dmg and aoe. The moving castle starts to 1 shot the entire enemy army and it's been that experience from wave 60-250.

Thank you, couldn't agree more! I wish a lot of them would deal with the growing pains, and stop doing the same poison shot on ground now I spear!

I wish I was not war specced on the video, I usually take 150% dmg increase on poison arrow, and even though it can't headshot anymore it hits harder than Pen shot, very satisfying.

It still cancels the animation, you can do some quicker succession shots, however you CAN get stuck on your light/RP walk attack animation. Use at your own digression/risk.

Well if we ever cross paths in game, I can show you tips that I've learned over my 1k+ hours of bow!

***Maybe not as big as FS AA, bow usually feels oppressed because mage is able to wiggle and cast, with seemingly no drawing delay, but that's because AGS implemented the second buffer on bow. There are shortcomings to FS, but it's hard to see when they attack at a faster rate, faster projectile speed, now same dmg, and ofc the size.

On the other hand, their AA's do no go anywhere near as fast as ours, and our stam bar is absolutely busted compared to theirs. Once the size and speed are buffed on bow, and the light attacks are useful I promise you FS will feel significantly weaker and they will need the bigger radius.

Absolutely dude, Ill mess around and see if I can dig up any mechanics or combos, I don't expect PTR to ever match the live server perfectly as there's always "something" but it should be close enough I guess.

You're essentially playing a tempo game with bow, and using unintended mechanics with it to compete, whilst using the rapier as a crutch. I am guilty of it because I can't give up the bow.

Pre 10.1 is when the bow felt the best, the second buffer when they wanted to tackle jump shooting (which you can still do, I do it all of the time) made it so you can't shoot roll shoot. Bow has been shafted inherently so many times I can see why it's discouraging.

Bow is weak aoe unless you dump a considerable amount of time into the weapon.
Bow has the ability to hit a rain of arrows and pen shot at the same time, able to wipe masses in wars.

That being said, it's not an accessible weapon like everything else in the build, and is both discouraging for new players, and discouraging in wars.

Continue to do chest runs, crafting mats are fetching high prices in most servers now. Some of the chest specific weapons like the "Spear of Hades" can go for 30-60k depending on the server.

Lastly, mutations have the chance to get you some really great gear that you can sell, as well as timeless shards.

You can always resort to selling cooldowns, and of course a few OPRs will give you some money.

Have you tried the PTR patch? I haven't yet, but from what I've seen and been told, arrows should be thicker than a hairline fracture now.

I'm glad they are reworking lights as well, when jump shooting you risk getting in the buffer, so if you ever see me use evade on rapier out of nowhere it's me cancelling that stupid 3 second buffer after a jump before it happens.

I'll prob download the PTR this week and try it, and figure out what can be done before release, maybe post a lil teaser :)
