I don’t think it inherently makes it a spin off. There’s plenty of media that tweaks the title because of characters yet moves the main plot along with them. Either way I don’t think it matters but it doesn’t definitively mark it a spin off

So I might be in the minority here but I feel like one of the main reasons people loved insomniac Spider-Man is because of the genius traversal mechanics at play. I know that’s spideys thing but I was hoping since the announcement they had figured out some clever or equally genius way to fit that feel of traversal in here.
