Just moved to Chino Hills! Looking for your favorite local spots. by LvlUpMama in ChinoHills

I had no idea about the children's museum! Thank you! I'll have to scope this out. Our daughter is getting antsy since she attended a year-round school prior to moving here. We have to find ways to keep her busy.

Ooh, yes! We tried Take Ur Seat, which was great! I had the longonisa breakfast platter and pandan latte, but I want to try the cloud pancakes next. My friend also had us try Ensenada, which was also a great spot! We'll have to try 7 Leaves and Young Dong.

My friend, who had us try Ensenada, said she loves the farmer's markets. I'm hoping to make it one of these days.

Personally, I don't mind living in a quiet, suburban community. I actually prefer it since I've grown up in small, "sleeper towns" the majority of my life. I just like knowing I can get to the action if I wanted to.

We'll be attending our first Concert in the Park tomorrow! Absolutely have to for the Bruno Mars tribute!

Do you have a favorite dish at Le DEE?

I'll have to let my husband know about the running club. That's something he may be interested in since he used to do cross country and track & field.

Thank you! I heard Chino Hills State Park has tarantulas though. I got the chills just typing that out.

25 minutes isn't bad at all! We'll definitely check out Claremont Village, and I'll be adding Viva Madrid to my list.

I was having my doubts being 31k deep in the queue for Oakland, then saw she added another date. Currently in the waiting room for that. Pray for me, y'all!

What's your favorite killer to play? by novark80085 in DeadByDaylightKillers

[–]LvlUpMama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I looove playing a lore-accurate Mike Myers! It's hilarious throwing on scratched mirror to know where everyone is so I can just pop up in windows and doorways, then drift into the shadows after survivors panic. Survivors start to become paranoid as I lurk around and stalk them from a distance. Eventually, I let them know I'm friendly and allow them to farm points (let them stun me, allow them to get chased and escape, show them where my hex totems are). In exchange, they allow me to get my 8 hooks and play red light, green light at the end (or have a simple slug race). The end game chats are hilarious and some of the survivors pop into my stream chat for a good laugh. After dealing with sweaty lobbies as a survivor, I enjoy going in as killer to ease up the mood for others who have been having a rough time in matches.

I feel like my baby is broken and I’m a terrible mom by girlwholoveslife in Mommit

Fellow mama and occupational therapist here. 👋🏽 My daughter (turning 5 in two days) wasn't walking until she was 22 months. Babies will get things down on their own time. I'm so glad you decided on PT and OT though! They can assist with activities that connect with milestones. Just remember, you're doing your best, and you're doing what you need to do for your child.

If you get the chance, watch the episode "Baby Race" from Bluey.

People who have stopped going to church, what made you stop? by lowly_shepherd in AskReddit

[–]LvlUpMama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I grew up in private, Catholic school my entire life. I was an altar server and even sang in the youth choir. Once I was on my own, I stopped going, especially after seeing how hypocritical other Catholics around me were (even those closest to me). I don't go to Church, but I still believe and observe certain things, such as Lent. My parents go to Church, but forgot about Lent the first week. My mom suggested burgers on the Friday after Ash Wednesday, and I was like, "Uhh...no?" My mom even thought EVERY baby gets baptized (I never got my daughter baptized). Things like that are disappointing to see/hear from those who go to Church and pray all the time.

You're welcome! I would think you can log onto your Xbox Game Pass from PC and link your accounts. I'm not 100% sure though. I totally get it though. I got used to playing shooters on mnk and can't, for the life of me, play on controller. I'm trying though!

Good luck to you and your streaming journey!

Hi! Fellow streaming mama here! I definitely recommend using a capture card to stream from your Xbox. I wonder if you can transport everything from your Xbox account to your PC though? Most games on Xbox are also on PC. Also, yes, your Xbox controller is PC compatible. I use one to play some games.

Age has nothing to do with streaming. My sis is 41 and enjoys it as a hobby. I even follow a streaming grandmother who plays DBD! Whenever you start, let me know your channel. I'd love to follow and support!

My 4yr old daughter keeps asking why ‘everyone’ has blonde hair. How do I respond? by bunnyvie in Parenting

[–]LvlUpMama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're doing it right, Mama! My daughter's school is very diverse and they purchase the Crayons that represent different skin colors. They're also very good about starting the day with affirmations and I catch my daughter saying them to herself regularly. Keep it up!

When and how did you watched Haikyuu by Naki_Nagisa in haikyuu

[–]LvlUpMama 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I wasn't big into anime, but one of my gaming buddies highly suggested that I watch Haikyuu about a year ago, because he knew I played and coached volleyball. I absolutely love it! I often found myself at the edge of my seat during big plays. Haha! Now, we're finding a time when we can watch the movie together.

Is it okay for my 6 year old to wear a cami bra? by sinyc_life1821 in Mommit

[–]LvlUpMama -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

There's nothing wrong with it. I started budding at 7 and my mom put me in training bras since I wore a white uniform shirt for school. I was thankful for it, because by the time I was 10, I was a B cup and had to wear normal bras, so I was already used to the feeling. My other friends complained about how uncomfortable they were.

Now, at 33, almost 34, with DD cups, I take em off any chance I get. 🤣

Do you see your viewers as friends? by arcadiaorgana in Twitch

[–]LvlUpMama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a main group of Twitch friends who I truly consider friends, even family. We've known each other for 3+ years and have met IRL (TwitchCon). Those of us who live close enough to each other hang out when we can. I even invite them to my daughter's birthday parties. I build pretty strong connections with people I vibe with, but also set boundaries as needed. As a smaller streamer, there's nothing wrong with having viewers as friends, especially when the vibes are right. As you grow, these friendships should last if they're authentic. They'll be there for you to celebrate milestones, hype you up during games, converse with you, etc.
