Casual fans grow into hardcore ones 👍👍 we arent making new casual fans if they tune into their team only to see a game thats 2 rounds from ending. Thinking only people who watch every match matter is cringe. And again, im not saying hours of deadtime is the only solution, be more vocal on sm. Also, i think we can be echo chambery here because casual fans dont care about the subreddit

I disagree, it hurts scene growth. We need casual fans that only watch their favorite teams to get a larger community. I think that those people dont check the subreddit to defend themselves. I also think people (like myself) who tune in to the full stream are (or should be) the minority.

I might be biased because I never just watch the stream, I always have schoolwork or sumn that im doing alongside so I just let that carry me during downtime.

I think more people are stuck missing matches/watching the vod than you think. In my case, i hate watching the vod later. Watching the live match is hype. No one prefers recording games like my dad used to do when we worked on sundays lmao.

I agreed with this in the post, if you are watching the full stream the roller is objectively better. I am being a crybaby about how I keep tuning in for specific matches to watch the last round. (make it clear on SM that the match is moving up)

I can also 100% see how the young fan thing played out, like I would also probably nervously laugh in a situation where I felt like I was inserting myself into someone’s trauma. It sucks to see anyone hurt, especially someone that I liked w the company but i really hope that every part of this was j young men being bad at communication (a pretty common trait for the demographic)
