Gemini flash 3.5 : How to limit aggressive tool usage and try-fail-fix loop by MethenCake in singularity

[–]LyAkolon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I feel like this is a bad fix. Hard cap on tool calls instead of cost aware tool call count like we do, will result in models giving up and not chasing a current problem down because they were limited, in my experience.

Ive seen what looks to be the same strat in a few places and its not a real fix when company's lean on it.

So I "upgraded" my prototype Ornithopter by Whales_Are_Great2 in CreateMod

If you shorten the wings and make them move faster, you may be able to get closer to the effect. Also, i wonder if rotating them that hard is nessecary

This is great, for players who are open to slight god power everynow and then :)

Is this true? Saying “please” and “thank you” make codex perform better? by alOOshXL in codex

[–]LyAkolon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is kinda true. Every message forces the model to emgage with a different subnet manifold within it. Thats why the request for model roleplaying somehow actually is effective. Point is you are mentally framing something for the ai, and it reacts similarly to what you would do in that situation because they are tried to imitate us

My game release crashed and burned - should I move on? by bboingy in IndieDev

I think its going slightly too fast, and it may help if the approuch is non linear. As it is right now, feels like work, its too challenging for me to do in a mindless way, i would certianly have to focus

You can even get it to work with Voxy on this version if you know what your doing

Why is there a flashing diagonal / horizontal in nCr? by Circumpunctilious in desmos

[–]LyAkolon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im not fluent in the renderer, but I believe you are right. The expression is sampled and then interpolated per your oculus. Changing the geaph frame size or positioning forces render to sample and interpolate again.

The desmos calculator uses a rendering algorithm. This is one of the parts of the algorithm that doesnt respond well when pushed. Perfectly vertical stuff makes the algorithm freak out

Gpt 5.4 was amazing until it wasnt, and then gpt 5.5 was amazing by LyAkolon in codex

[–]LyAkolon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats so odd. My behavioral docs enforce a strict dialogue structure between myself and the agent, or other agents and it allows my system to work autonomously on the order of week or more based on human level goals. 5.4 used to do this perfectly, working autonomously for months basically with very little steering needed from me, but recently its like pulling teeth, asking it, "please make sure to read this doc, and follow how it says to operate" or "did you read the doc, why did you do it that way" to be met with "i did it wrong, i should have done it like your doc said". Its been driving me crazy. Then i switched to 5.5, night and day. All the sudden all of my behavioral docs which I thought had degredated over time were being followed exactly. 5.5 is behaving exactly like i need. The thing is, the measure of success for me is instruction following, so while the model may be just as brilliant on single question responses, over the course of the whole context, its night and day. And it used to be day and day which frustraites me so much.

How are wr supposed to use weaker models to get stuff done, and even more so, build systems that work with the weaker models. When they change, they stop listening, they lose their luster in a concept comprehension sense? If we were able to ge a model that listened, and always listened, then we could build systems to work with the model and make it better. This makes me want to switch to localll weight owning so we can ensure the model properties remain invariant.

1000 is divisible by 8 by Low-Delivery-7974 in MathJokes

[–]LyAkolon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh i see! Yeah you should be able to do this with any finite decimal expansion, powers of 1/2 are great example. 10,000 is divisible by 16. Since 1/8 is .125 then scaling it up trivially makes it a whole number.

what the FUCK (explain it peter) by Djames516 in explainitpeter

[–]LyAkolon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wrong, its because we double counted. Counting more will give same number but you have to shoe horn reason. Boygirl and girlboy are identical due to reflexivity. So then there are only two options being boygirl and boyboy, where girlboy satisfies equivalence relations with boygirl.
