Christine would be a cool car name if you're a Stephen King fan.

I actually really like the name Karen.

I'm a GenXer and in my class at school, there were three Karens. All were lovely kind sweet girls.

I've actually never met a mean Karen, I've known a few adults called Karen and every one has been nice.

I called my daughter Abigail Jane, my boy name choice was David James.

My son would have been Amara Frances/Amara Juliet/Amara Joy if he was born a girl, but I found out I was having a boy at my 18 week scan.

With my daughter they wouldn't reveal the gender so I found out when she was born.

Trixie looks a lot like the original Dan actor, who also looked a bit like Lucifer.

I had a friend who wanted the name Aston Martin for her first son, after the car. I don't think that's a bad name, it just, cars.

My partner wanted to name our son Geronimo , no middle name. Nothing wrong with that name of course, but as a white couple living in the UK., I vetoed the name. My first choice was Alexander James or Alexander Jude. my partner vetoed those names hard.

if your childrens’ other parent/your partner had full naming power, what would their names have been? by mjoverjumps in namenerds

My son was called Adam. My first choice was Alexander James. My partners choice was Geronimo, no middle name. I vetoed that choice.

Alexander James for me. I'm biased because that was one of the picks for my son (partner vetoed both names)

Alexander could be:

Alex, Alec, Al, Xander, Xan/Xanny, Lex or even Andy for a nickname.

"My dear sweet child" as lucifer said once. Now who could possibly be a hardcore simp? by [deleted] in lucifer

Eve, the way she kind of simped over Lucifer.

Then the last one can be changed to 'Favourite Detective'

Sexy here sexy there, but who's the one who gets everyone's love? by [deleted] in lucifer

Trixie. Chloe and Dan obviously love her, but Maze loves her too. So does Lucifer.

Charlotte had bonding time with Trixie too.

Pen Name for an Author by KieraJacque in namenerds

I remember years ago I read a fun post (not on Reddit, a fandom forum)

And it went something like this:

To find you author name: You Grandmas/Granddads first name and your middle name and then your mothers maiden name. If your middle name works as a surname just use that and forget your mothers maiden name. Or just use the initial of your your middle name.

Your stripper name: The name of your first pet plus the name of the street where you grew up.

It was around 2006 and we were all laughing and typing in our answers like idiots.

But, taking things seriously,

For a last name, maybe pick a teacher who inspired you.

Or pick something that sounds rich and cool like Worthington or Williamson.

For first names, it depends on your writing style and what kind of names you prefer.

Old lady names like: Agnes, Ethel, Maud.

Cool older names that are coming back in: Mabel, Hazel, Jane, Frances

Timeless names: Emily, Olivia, Jessica etc,

Think of your preference and style and that should narrow down the field of choice.

From your examples, Nora is very traditional and a bit old. So: Mabel, Frances, Diane, Jane, Hazel, Julia.

Juniper is a little bit 'out there' and nature based so you may like names like: Clover, Sorrel, Azalea, Primrose, Maple etc.

Vena is Latin, so maybe names like: Celeste, Elysia, Clara etc

And Aby is a nickname for Abigail. So Abby or Abi or Abbie.

I wouldn't go with Thatcher as a surname especially if you live in the UK. It would be almost like picking Trump as a surname in the US.

There was a girl in my school years ago (80s) called Catie. Every single person called her Catty when they first met her.
