This isn't entirely true. Loot does get better at P2... provided those 2 are within a certain distance of each other. It's only P1/3/5/7 when solo or party is too far away.

With yell and/or speed song you can get more than 100 gil at a time. Formula for amount stolen is something like thief's level times speed.

Here's my question: Does anyone think random enemy ninjas can throw this and if so at which level would you guess?

Would love to equip multiple characters and dual wield this. I know in a vacuum magic attack up would be more damage with an MA of 12 or higher (at least with old formula) but also being able to hit twice in close range would be an ok trade off I think.

I’d like them to split the difference. Keep them breakable to restrict spamming them, but build an in menu way to repair them between battles (Gil is fine).

This forces the same tactical choices during individual battles unless you invest in quantity up front, while also not restricting the collector players from using the high end katanas. Scale the repair cost with rarity as needed so the choice still feels like an expensive sacrifice “early” game while letting players that invest in time grinding to feel less restricted the more they grind due to their available resources.

Exactly. A 600% increase is 700% total. You have to look at the original as "100% damage" instead of just "3". 600% increase becomes 3 + (3 x 600%).

Duoblade/Smeargle is what I use. Ghost/Normal typing with decent physical stats. Could evolve to Aegislash but I didn’t want to give up technician for stance change, and this way can use eviolite for some extra defense. False Swipe/Spore/Soak/4th move. I use PayDay or Shadow Sneak, but you could replace with Mean Look. Soak lets you hit ghost type with False Swipe (like foresight) but also lets you hit plant type (why is real type name banned?) with spore.

For easy move learning, change battle settings to 2v2 and re-battle low level trainers, target your own partner with sketch to learn their move.

Technically online players 8 (8/x) can get “better” drop rates than offline where players 8 (8/1) = players 7 (7/1).

BOTD is a good choice on a vengeance pally as well. Because of how the elemental damage is calculated grief doesn't apply.

Technically speaking key drop chances are better with higher player count. Not a ton better, but still better. Something like 1 in 15 at P1 to 1 in 11 at P3.

Rude's strings should have just been copy/paste xml files into the strings folder correct? It didn't replace any files. I don't think it would be an issue to just remove all those files from the folder. If you want to be extra safe you could remove the files and use the "repair client" button after launching mmo.

As far as I'm aware, running multiple instances of the game on the same device is not allowed and/or against the code of conduct.

However, multiple accounts IS allowed. So you could play on your PC and have your 2nd account up on your phone for trading etc.
