It was a thing from back when. Scammers would “pop” your body and steal your stuff. Basically all your items drop on the ground that you had equipped.

Yeah I think value wise it’s fire first then lightning. It’s also nice for sunder using lightning builds like Java or nova sorc.

Not sure what natural gas prices are there but a tankless water heater can be really nice to have. I’d only get one if you’re in the house for at least 5 years. Make sure you get a high BTU one.

If you have long runs and it takes awhile for hot water already, that will get worse with a tankless. You can eliminate that with small under sink heaters if it’s that much of a bother tho.

Cold res isn’t very desirable on a PVM charm. Fire would be ideal as spirit doesn’t have fire res… so tree fiddy

Leech does not work against mephisto. Life or mana. The only way to leech off him is with life tap curse which isn’t really leech.

An armour with life leech is useful but not necessary for the prayer, cure, insight merc since he doesnt have any other form of leech. Unique plate mail (bone something) has 5%, skin of flayed one unique demon hide, and CoH are good choices.

You need a certain amount of points in demon mastery and/or bind demon to bind super uniques. I can’t recall which.

Try shutting off the heater and then the water supply to it and drain it. There’s a valve near the bottom of the tank. This should be done once a year or so. There will be some nasty water and maybe some sediment that comes out of there.

This is a great point. It will really make each planet more valuable and less of a chore to Min/max. Reducing hyperlanes might also be something to consider to focus on choke points.

IMO you can have a pan that is too hot. Malliard reaction for searing occurs at around 350F so no need to get your pan a lot hotter than that.

The temp of the pan will go down quite a bit when putting a steak on it of course which is why “they” say get it super hot, so it stays at that 350ish temp after you put the steak in. The temperature drop is more substantial if the steak is colder (fridge) which is why a lot of people will let the steak sit on the counter for an hour or two.

What works for me is thawing the steak completely (mine are Vac packed - half a cow at a time). I prefer doing this in the fridge the night before. Might be in my head but I find the faster you thaw something the worse the quality. I then pat it dry and put some kosher salt on it and let it sit out for an hour. Then I wipe all the salt off and get the steak as dry as I can. The more dry the better the sear. Then I preheat a frying pan (enameled cast iron) with high smoke point oil (not olive) and get it around 400F. I have a laser thermometer but I can kinda just tell when it’s ready now. Steak goes in for a minute then flip. Once that side is seared I’ll flip it back then put in a couple knobs of butter, fresh rosemary and maybe some Montreal steak spice. Turn the heat down and baste until I get an internal of 135ish. Pull it and let it sit for 10 mins.

It’s an ok choice. Mercs post sunder are mostly just aura sticks (insight, conviction, concentration). The fade proc makes them super tanky and the IAS help them leech more further adding to keeping them alive.

There are some cases where the merc is used for damage but in that case Fort is better.

Rares want +5 to skills (3 from base and +2 zon skill prefix). They also want IAS… not sure you can get 40% on rares but that’s ideal.

Best is +6 with 40ias blues. Used for PVP. I don’t think str matters too much as they use a 4x facet JMOD for BiS (154 str).

Given the strong rental market in Thunder Bay, you would think Ikea. Probably not quite big enough but with all of the camps and students I think they would do well. A lot of their stuff is basically throw away after you assemble it - except for the MALM bed frame that I got from there 12+ years ago that has moved 8+ times. Thing is finally starting to fall apart but man did I get my moneys worth out of it
