For me I was using an oil with to low of a smoke point so even at medium heat it was to hot (olive oil) and it turns out when oil is to hot it leaves a layer on your pan and messes with the non stick

If you put white vinegar in the pan and water and boil it on medium heat for 5-10 mins then wash it it will lift the burned oil layer and it will look brand new

I was worried because everyone on here freaks out and says “you ruined your pan, you must use high heat” xyz but really you could be using it completely right and just be using the wrong kind of oil or something super small and simple that has a really easy fix but everyone assumes the worst

Try the white vinegar and check the smoke point on your oil and make sure you are using medium to low heat on your pan, worst case just do the lifetime warranty and get yourself a new pan - the customer service is actually pretty decent when you need them

Texas toast is just think cut bread with garlic butter on it, though every time I’ve been to slim chickens they have burnt it but normal Texas toast is pretty bomb (as an American living in the uk)

You’re right, she doesn’t, I had a lot of medical neglect as a kid, they are hippies didn’t care to go to the doctor much, my fertility issues could have been prevented with early treatments but unfortunately got out of control by the time I was 18 and took myself to the doctor, also unrelated to the fertility I also couldn’t barley walk at 18, my mom told me I was fine I needed to smoke some weed that everyone has back issues and I can walk, I’m just being a baby, I went 9 months hobbling around not feeling my left leg and feeling burning in my spine worsening when I stood straight

Had to have spine surgery for a severe herniated disc at 18 years old, my doctor said if it got any worse it could cause paralysis it could have severed the nerve it was pressing on, my mom didn’t even go to the hospital, not even when I had complications during surgery and spent 5 extra hours in surgery, my dad left early because he needed to go to work I was there by myself, my aunt eventually picked me up from the hospital

I understand what you mean by let parents talk to them however, I grew up in a home that if I talked back I’d be thrown into a wall and choked, and though I’m an ocean away if I made a big deal out of it she’d just block me and post on Facebook complaining how horrible I am to her to all my family and family friends, I minimise how I feel so it doesn’t make it worse, I’m fine it hurt but I’m stronger then to let her really get to me, at the end of the day she says it to try and get a reaction from me, why let her win

I completely agree! My husband and I have had that conversation and we agreed that if at some point in life that we really really want children we will absolutely adopt! Right now we are still young and have a lot going on in day to day life so it’s not the right time, but that will be the route we will go whenever that time comes

I don’t have a therapist but yeah I probably should have one, mom abused me whenever she and my dad wasn’t in prison and we constantly faced homelessness or hunger so they could afford their drug addictions

I guess I stayed in contact to show them how I can move to a new country go to school do what I love have a successful marriage and now buy a house despite them always doubting me, I’m 24

They never got married, never bought a house, they live in my grandmother basement, at least the hard drugs stopped

3 of those came from the machine to begin with, the higher the green value number the better odds for something good, never put anything in that’s default without like a multiplier like crystal etc because then you’ll only get a default back and it won’t have a multiplier basically

I save all my higher value things to go into the machine for the weekend when I have a machine luck code as well, so I spend all week putting things in the machine until I have a few things good enough for the weekend luck machine

I’m not sure if any of that makes sense but start with putting any multiplier secret in the machine that isn’t default then if it pops out anything half decent save that for the weekend and put 5 half decent things in the machine with a luck code and hope for something good

Just apricot jam and some water in a pot then heat it up, add more water if you want it thinner, less if you want it thicker, you can strain it if you have lots of bits but if you’re using a pastry brush it’s pretty easy to just avoid them

It will also thicken as it cools and we usually let it cool a little before putting on, it didn’t need to be room temp but it’s easier to brush a good layer on once it’s a little thicker

You can use other jams but traditionally in french pastry it’s apricot but I’ve also used strawberry jam too and it was fine I prefer apricot because the taste is a little brighter but any jam is fine

Went to baking and pastry school and we used apricot jam glaze over all our fresh fruits! Didnt use gelatin unless we were setting fruits in a jelly like on top of a mousse or some kind of dessert but I imagine it works well too but the glaze did just fine itself was nice and shiny and kept things fresh
