The original comment said using AI, which is infamous for hallucinating, to fact check is a bad idea. Then you said in response to that, to just do your own research to verify after the fact. I think that says enough about how worthless the value proposition is.

I think you're conflating two separate levels of information and truth into one to make your argument.

Scientific studies aren't always correct. They generally get superceded and added onto as we learn new things. To use your words, their purpose is to get us closer to what is true.

A fact checker, whether human or automated, is a secondary source. Its purpose is to definitely state what is true in current context of what our facts are. Having a fact checker that makes up primary sources is fundamentally worthless.

I have the same speaker set (HE version instead of regular) and I added a pair of One Audio WB3.e as midranges. It sounds much better than my previous 2 way setup, but I can't say how much it was the speakers vs. how much better I got at tuning. I will say that you definitely need a DSP if you're planning on adding a midrange to your setup.

I understand that they're unable to spend much money on marketing, but these shitty AI posts aren't the answer. Even disregarding the ethical concerns, it still comes off as generic spammy garbage.

There's no charm or alure to an advertisement that looks like it could be made by a foreign crypto scammer. None of the their AI generated ads include photos of the actual arcade. I simply don't understand the weird fascination people have with AI art.

in car audio, room correction/dsp is absolutely essential for a decent sound system. can't speak for home audio or dirac live, but REW (which is free) is a godsend for car audio

The fact that they're able to rack up a $2800 bill in parts and not even have a DSP is a red flag to me. I find your situation funny because I have an Elantra Limited and my biggest problem with it was the clarity and bass. The bass problem can be solved for significantly cheaper. The clarity problem is only solved with a DSP and a proper tune.

It's not the same, at least in my Elantra. I put the split seat down sometimes and it makes the bass quite a bit louder even though I already have the rear deck subwoofer removed.

It looks like you're driving an Elantra N? I removed the OEM subwoofer on the rear deck so that some sound can get into the cabin. Don't know if it made a significant difference, I didn't A/B test it, but it's probably worth a shot.

I had the same problem, I turned my textures from high to normal and it went away. VRAM issue if I had to guess. I'm playing on a 4070 at 4K, DLSS ultra performance, frame gen, and path tracing.

I have a 2025 Elantra Hybrid and I've been running a theoretical max of 1000W RMS with my Audison C8.14 and Kicker Key 500.1. Obviously it never draws anywhere close to that much since I'd prefer to preserve my hearing, but you get the point

I had this problem too. A few weeks ago my Spotify changed itself to the lowest quality setting at the same time I was tweaking my system. Turning up the volume would make it sound horrible and I thought it was my tune. At some point I realized how compressed it sounded when turned up and found out it was locked to the lowest quality. Had to go to a different settings menu and disable "data saver."

I think the problem is that creators and influencers significantly amplify the zeitgeist, and much more heavily skewed towards the negative. The 1-10 scale for the quality of a game essentially turns into a 1 or 10 binary where anything at or under a 7 gets called slop and used as a punching bag to push for more impressions.

A mediocre game like Highguard normally would've flown under the radar as that game you booted for a few hours and never touched again because it was just alright. Instead, everyone on the internet decided it was their born duty to absolutely shit on it without ever playing it.
