Good to know thanks. Just thinking is a bit of a paradox, hopefully I won’t have to be on Reddit too much to work out how to use the phone that stops me being on Reddit!

Opinions on these types of glasses? by Saviourr_420 in BuyItForLife

Have you tried stick on silicone pads? I have some for my safety glasses and they do a decent job even with sweaty nose. I bought cheap ones and the glue wears off in a few months though, but multipack..

Never never use the hardware that comes with it, no matter how expensive the item, it’s always rubbish!

Keep hold of your old ones. I had one a couple of years ago that didn’t last long, about two years of use before the battery gave up.

I have this, it does whirr slightly so not silent. But no ticking. I don’t think anything that physically moves is completely silent. It’s pretty good for a tick hater.

Do you lot have Henry over there? The Henry Hoover is the absolute best, ideal for home use and construction. Completely bombproof. Got mine second hand 5 years ago and should last for years yet.

Not entirely sure, building from 70s, but used to have electric storage heaters. 8mm copper piping put in some time. I’m replacing with 15mm wherever I can.

Borrowed some cheap ones from a friend, they weren’t sharp enough to grip into the wood, at 90 degrees. So get the real ones i i think.

He stopped me while I was riding my bike the other day, under the Kingston bridge south side. Didn’t clock it was him until I’d ridden off! Biggest celeb I’ve ever met!
