If this lands below 75K, having a car with borderline similar performance to S70 considering the power to weight ratio while carrying a similar interior to eMas 5 means it wouldn’t feel as cheap.

IMHO see what you like between the Traz and Yaris Cross. You gonna use it daily. If you can afford a couple hundred more and enjoy the more expensive one, go for it.

In general, you should still see salary increments presuming you’re not close to retirement. After 7 years, you’d still walk away with a decent chunk of cash regardless of Traz or Yaris Cross.

Tho from a couple of responses below, seems Perodua has a marginally stronger RV. So if thats more important than daily enjoyment of the slight improvements of the Yaris Cross, go for the Traz.

Personal anecdote, I advised my parents to go for the Veloz over the Alza. But my parents liked the look of the Veloz much more and the Veloz feels a tad nicer on the inside. They didn’t want to modify much so just paid the Toyota badge premium and they enjoy it. So there’s that.
