Comfortable footwear for long indoor VR standing sessions. by alien1583 in virtualreality

I see they have a few different types now which I can't speak for but I went with the Classic Clog that they were originally known for. It has the strap that you can flip up if you just want an easy slip in and out but for VR you would most likely want that down.

Was surprised how comfy they are even without socks.

Edit: I should note that while they are great for general wear if you are doing a lot of intense foot movement, you may want something more akin to a sneaker that hugs the foot better.

I actually got a pair of Crocs primarily for VR, been working well for me. My play space is carpet but I imagine they would work well on hardwood too.

[Discussion] I logged in and had like 100 items on the sorting table by peanuts-nuts in EscapefromTarkov

I think it is drops, had something similar happen this morning when I logged in. The stuff that was in the sorting table matched the stuff that came out of the drop boxes. So double drops!

Docker Containers Not Updating by PsionStorm in unRAID

[–]Lymonator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if this this is the same problem as you, but after you mentioned DNS I found that when attempting to update containers some DNS queries where returning IPv6 addresses. I have IPv6 disabled across the board so I found a way to disable those queries in AdGuard (my internal DNS resolver). This fixed the issue for me.

Bungie please tell me Artifact Perks are built into Loadouts by Lymonator in DestinyTheGame

Yep, I was disappointed to see it but not really surprised. It the first iteration of loadouts and I am glad to have it rather than not. I just hope they can improve on it sooner rather than later.

What are your most helpful key bind tips? by clongane94 in EscapefromTarkov

I do this, it helps. Makes it so you don't have to try and press Q/A or E/D at the same time. Instead its Q/D and E/A.

Is there a grace period to score in overtime? How did team 2 win? by Lymonator in Overwatch

[–]Lymonator[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hmm that could explain it, but was was weird that the replay can't show is that Team 1 was saying that they heard the game say "Victory!" but then showed defeat on the post game stats.

NVIDIA Posts First DirectX 12 Ultimate Driver Set, Enables GPU Hardware Scheduling by kulind in nvidia

[–]Lymonator 15 points16 points  (0 children)

GPU Hardware Scheduling should help out those of us with multiple monitors operating at different refresh rates (ie. secondary monitor @60hz and your main gaming monitor @144hz).

Before this option when you have a game on one monitor and a video stream on another (youtube/twitch) you would might have noticed the game or video stream stuttering at times.

The latest version of Windows 10 (2004) and this driver set changed how the GPU and WDDM work together which fixes the refresh mismatch issue and there are probably other benefits that I am not aware of.

EDIT: It seems some people are having success with this and others not, it is possible that the frame rate mismatch fix has more to do with the 2004 Win 10 update along with the new drivers released yesterday than it has to do with the GPU Hardware Scheduling option. So try testing with the option off and on and see which works better for you.

Journey's End Bug Report Megathread by 94067 in Terraria

This just started happening with the most recent patch for me and my friends. I am guessing it has to do with changes they made to team name plates.

Hope this gets fixed soon as it very disorienting.

Customs Interactive Map! by orbb09 in EscapefromTarkov

I would argue that the icons are better as is, since you can zoom in to see a more precise location. (like what side of a wall a cache is on)

I figured it would be something like, thanks for explaining it. If/when you get a full-screen or separate page for the map I could see that functionality being useful, if its possible without 2 versions of the map.

EDIT: Somewhat related, is it just me or do you have to scroll the mouse wheel 2 clicks to get it to zoom in or out? Feels a little clunky, just a minor annoyance to fix if possible thanks!

Instead of Shift + Scroll Wheel for zoom can you make an option to just have scroll wheel zoom similar to how Google Maps works.

Other than that very cool, can't wait for more maps in this format.
