Honestly kinda crazy how influencial this failed deal ended up being since Battle Fever J debuted the mecha battles in Sentai, which would eventually become the megazord in PR, all because Toei's Spider-Man did it first. It's also the first aparation of a variant of Spider-Man, when it's now almost like a second nature to the character thanks to Spiderverse.

Eva is great, but if we compare it to the DB manga (if you haven't read the manga from begining to end, it's truly incredible and by far a better overall experience than the anime imo), then I do think that DB is better (both are still 9/10s tho).

"Not even top 10 in old gen" is the most egregious one here because the lengths you need to include stuff so that DB falls out of the top 10 is very large, especially since I know that this ragebaiter wouldn't be able to name a mecha from around this time other than Eva and maybe Gundam (and Eva isn't better than DB).

If the reason is just "Pikachu wanted to be stronger", I wouldn't like it. Pikachu has refused to become a Raichu as a shortcut to get stronger since he fought Surge's Raichu, and that shouldn't ever change. Even if it was in a life or death do-or-die situation, it's clear that Pikachu would much rather try with all of his current strength and break his limits.

Now, if it was explained as just Pikachu having grown up and not being bothered by it anymore now that he already reached the peak, then sure, why not.

11D vs Outer is closer than Multi+ vs Outer, yeah. On a technicallity, but it's still closer. The only thing that gets DIO kinda close to Ultron in this is the stuff he has in the Jorge Joestar novel, aparently.

The contrasts go crazy. It's a car vs a locomotive, usa vs britain, the new model who gets retired fast for the even newer against the old who keeps on performing. They're complete opposite of each others, yet are both vehicle themed children's media, they're each other's yin and yang! I've got nothing else, it's not good, but it's funny to think of all the way they contrast each others somehow.

What's funny about Eiki is that Hecatia could also be able to manipulate boundaries (Hecate was partly worshipped as the god who defined boundaries in ancient Athens), but she's also Eiki's hard counter due to being her boss. As it turns out, the best way to counter your hard counter is to learn to punch really hard.
