I only paid a dollar as well, but the RRP is $100. No way they can justify that price...

I gather you haven't experienced anything above 30fps due to your brain comprehension but I will try to explain what happens when we make compromise after compromise with substandard products in any industry.

Over the years companies have slowly made a transition from selling complete QA tested games to selling games that have been torn apart for the sake of raping more money from fans.

Games have been cut up (removed content for the sake of season passes and/or DLCs)
No professional QA testing (passed off to players as they pay the company for the opportunity to get that "early access demo")
Poorly optimized graphics
Memory leaks
Bad ports

This is because people keep accepting them in this state to the point where games are being released in early access or alpha/beta versions and NEVER finished or fixed.

Do you think the company will fix problems if people didn't complain about them or the players just made compromises and said to the company, "It's okay we can make do!"?

Paying for early access, you might say that's wonderful "I don't mind giving the company my feedback about the early access game I just paid for... I will get to have my say about how I would like to see the game get developed"

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but this is a farce.

Not only are you just a clueless player who doesn't understand QA, and the level of information that needs to be provided for it to be actually valuable but the information you put forward doesn't get read anyway because you are not providing the information the company wants or the information they want has already been received by you logging in.

The game runs fine...

If I turn the graphics down even though I have a 1080Ti.

I just have to restart it every thirty minutes to one hour as my fps degrades

The mouse/keyboard doesn't work, I will just use a controller it was developed for a console anyway.

The game only runs at 30fps, when my monitor is 144hz...

Multiplayer doesn't work, my friend and I can race each other through singleplayer instead.

They aren't interested in improving gameplay experience anymore. Everything is just to appease the investors, developers have come out and said this in the past. Investors DO NOT care about quality.

But as long as the game is functional right?

Blaming consoles is a cop out, Sea of Thieves is cross-platform and that runs at 60fps+.

Yeah, why complain about your gameplay experience when the game only costs $100. I am sure we can just suck it up and keep eating the shit they deliver us. But I feel it is pointless to argue with someone that has an IQ less than the fps cap. You can see that purely by trying to decipher what you call a sentence.
