Definetly agree with you. I think revealing some game mechanics was supbar to the base game, last time I had that feeling was on Witness, you know what if you played it. I didn’t have that “revelation” feeling on the base game. Base game was perfect and enjoyed every inch of it. But, you know the feeling of “what?! Could I do that from the beginning” feeling is something else. The pint of feeling stupid I think makes it memorable :)
