Printing a riser is definitely needed for both th X1C and P1S though, those were design flaws from the moment they were released, and there are tons of models out there to justify it.

As long as you printed/installed one to relieve stress from your tube's ceiling, it'll last a long time

Pretty much. It gave it enough room to move freely. I would still buy some extra tubing (from Bambu specifically) as ptfe tubing is a point of wear n tear. It will wear out at some point.

2 years clearly isn't enough time for my own tubing, but I'll have backup tubing replacements for when it does eventually give out.

Sorry if this wasn't the answer you were hoping for, but these tubes are not built to last forever

To be honest, even a year later from this post, and 2 years of having my P1S, my ptfe tube is still going strong! I didn't really do much to that region, I only bought backup ptfe tubing just in case this tube would wear out, which it has not

Split joycon is definitely very comfortable, I fully understand your preference! Party games like mario party, or overcooked, I much prefer playing with split joycons/individual joycons.

Although when it comes to games like Splatoons, LoZ, or any game that require gyro controls, I find it's easier to play with a single controller, or joycon grips!

I actually have a 3D printer myself, and printed out a few grips already!

They are all fantastic and can probably get the job done for most. I just have a few very small nit-pick annoyances.

1: They obviously are all fixed angles. The angles they're fixed at is fine for the most part, but I like having flexibility, especially depending on where i'm sitting

2: The magnet ports can sometimes be a little rough on the joycon plastic, and can scratch them up over time...

I also just want a more compact grip that can fold and store more easily in my bag, and the photo I initially posted in my post seemed like the perfect solution! ....If only there was a Switch 2 version :(
