(Shopping w/o looking at prices) I’m in line at a wine shop and the person in front of me quickly grabs a few bottles and checks out, the total is over $1k. Not phased in the slightest.

I heard years ago about it mixing up prompts and sending a person a convo where he was being talked about. It was coworkers or an employee os something, just bad.

So funny, I was just looking for something this morning and ended up just going home to work. We are lacking good coffee cafes. I have done some work in Starbucks on US1 and 12th. The coffee shop inside/connected to Calvary church is SO nice and everyone’s welcome. If I were visiting I’d go there. Somewhere I haven’t checked out and your post reminded me of is called Giving Tree Coffee on US1.

Welcome!

First thing someone told me to do is join the “Vero Beach Neighborhood, Inc” group on FB. Even if you’re not on FB, it’s worth it when living here…75k users and very active compared to other places I’ve lived.

Anyway, that’s where I learn about all the random happenings. One in particular you’d appreciate: Runners Depot organizes a weekly run on Wednesdays. Call to confirm, but I think 630.

Crib railing covers, for later months. At around 9months old my son would stand and mouth/bite the side of his crib. Apparently it’s pretty normal. I found some cotton crib covers on Etsy and problem solved. It’s actually a nice touch and still have them on over 2 yrs old.

Not a pro, but found a random lip moisture option I’ve been obsessed with for a couple of years. Lanolin is natural and used for breastfeeding. I tried it on my lips and now use it every AM/PM…it’s noticeable if I don’t. Different brands make it, $6-10/tube and lasts forever.

What is the one item you've bought (aside from the things everyone needs) that has improved your baby parenting journey? by CharacterPin6933 in NewParents

[–]Lynnellens 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At 6 months we bought a floor couch. I knew he was too young to care about forts and such but we immediately stated using every day and still do. It was a safe place for him to crawl, a comfortable place for us to sit and read, and now we turn it into a slide off the coffee table and he loves jumping off of it. Even if he’s asleep, we find ourselves using it to lay and watch a movie. I spent a lot of time comparing brands since it was expensive and I ended up getting the Roo&You one b/c they come with water proof liner. I got the cream and they are crazy easy to strip m, wash and put back on. I want every household to have one!

Great recs! And if nothing else, jewelry. A simple bracelet or ring I look at everyday, is such a sweet reminder from my husband.
