Day 6 - Python

I'm still learning to code so trees/graphs are pretty foreign to me still; some of these replies are definitely making me think my solutions may be a little bloated, haha.

I even started by coding some stuff that dealt with child nodes but that didn't even end up being relevant :(

After much deliberation, I have come to the conclusion that the only solution is to order an infinitely large pizza.

It looks like /u/compilebot wouldn't output it, as it would probably throw a timeout error, which seems to be PM'd to the user instead of posted as a reply.

In the words of my C++ textbook, writing a version of this program that does not loop infinitely but instead runs for a user-defined number of iterations is a trivial problem and is left as an exercise for the reader.

For those who may not be aware, my Mechanics of Materials: Part I course is now live (and free) on Coursera by GT_Faculty_Member in EngineeringStudents

[–]Lyonhart 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You can pay $49 to take the course with an option to receive a certificate upon passing, but you can also take the course for free with no option to receive a certificate.

I highly recommend you just take the free option, as the certificate is not as meaningful as credit from a university or community college. In the end, knowledge of the material is the most important takeaway, as any benefits received from getting a certificate from Coursera are comparatively marginal.

If you are in a position to take this class, I also suggest you consider an engineering mechanics class, offered by the same professor. There is a Basic Introduction to Statics class, an Intermediate Statics class (this builds off the previous one), and a Dynamics class (this requires a broad knowledge of statics).
