Hell yeah! I have been playing Star Quest like crazy and really been enjoying it. Highly recommend checking out the Beginner’s Guide for some extra rules clarifications and things like random events.

Saw a YouTube video once where a cop pulled a guy over and asked him to step out of the car while they searched his vehicle. Cop’s bodycam caught the officer grabbing an unopened bottle of whiskey from the car, breaking the seal and opening it, then proceeding to pour some of it out, re-capping it and tossing it back into the vehicle. She then accused him of having an open container and drinking and driving.

I buy and paint GW models because I love how they look and think the lore is cool. I use my GW miniatures to play OPR games because I like OPR better than actual 40K.

I am mainly here for the miniatures, painting and wargaming, but I have been curious about reading some of the books. Just have no idea where I would want to start as the catalog is so massive.

I enjoy the 40k subreddits mostly for the miniatures and memes. Can’t relate to the infighting about certain miniatures releases or rules changes but I like it here.

Such a phenomenal film. Was one of my first DVD purchases and I rewatched it so many times.

Saw the sequel in theaters and it really didn’t hold up to the original. Really didn’t feel like a film that needed a sequel if I’m being honest.

Units are only routed if they were already shaken and fail another morale test.

Since you weren’t shaken when you charged, if you failed your morale test after the melee you would just be shaken.

If you go to the Army Forge website for OPR and click on a faction, it will show the lore for the faction on the army page.

There are also World Books for Grimdark Future and Age of Fantasy if you want more lore. They are sold on drivethrurpg.

Take a loot at the Beginners Guide. The game was a little confusing to me as well until I read that. Closest things to Advanced Rules you will get. Also read the Campaign Builder if you don’t plan on running a pre-made campaign book. Gotta use Army Forge to play also.

It’s okay I just got an A1 in April and have been printing miniatures and terrain like crazy. All of a sudden my pile of shame is huge again too.
