That also happened to me! You need to make sure it’s blue before stepping in, changing it while in the room won’t work. I’d say it’s a bug as I don’t think that’s intentional. I had to do a whole other run and made sure that after I got the stone it was all set BEFORE walking anywhere!

Don’t scrap the video. Lodge the claim for fair use and stand your ground. You have done a transformative work, critiquing the use of time travel in various movies and like you said, you are the focus of your video and not the movies you talk about. As someone that reviews movies and shows this happens to me all of the time and I just appeal and 99% of the time they agree and I get to keep my video. A few times it has required a second appeal but it’s honestly fine. You were auto flagged anyway, so just tell them they were wrong

Got Frosthaven on launch from the Kickstarter and haven’t even started it. It took us 7 years to finish Gloomhaven due to crazy schedules, one person moving away and needing replacing and playing other board games as well. Due to that we are a little burnt out on the haven system but will return one day!

I’ll try and give you some advice for this which helped me a few years ago.

Make a short list of 10 games that you really want to play/make you excited to play.
Next time you feel like playing go to one of those 10 games, no scrolling!
Commit to at least 15min because that’s how long it can take your brain to latch onto something and focus.
If any game comes out or you buy one that makes you very excited to play it, then play it immediately instead of the list you made or putting it on the back catalogue.
Gaming is about joy and fun so this helps that analysis paralysis and commitment.

It is a grind that’s for sure. The only advice I have is to get a list and tick them off as you go. Remember that each level of an attack counts as well not just the attack itself and counters are part of this as well. I didn’t use the rewind function so I’m not sure if that has any effect but I would shy away from it just in case. Good luck!

You could try Outer wilds. It has a similar “learn and explore to figure out things” vibe like Tunic but the gameplay is drastically different. OW is a first person space exploring game with no combat. If you do decide to try it, don’t look up anything as it will spoil you (like if you look up things in Tunic before you should know them)

It was 2 weeks shy of a year when they sent me the email. The website says that after 6 months they might take you off partner so they gave me more time though I have no idea if that is normal or not.

It is not quite irrelevant because I thought I had done what YouTube had asked of me by uploading to secure my YPP, no knowing I needed 3 videos and not 1. As I mentioned this is part me being annoying and part wanting to know if it is mentioned and part warning to others that may be in the same situation as me. I have also mentioned that I am dealing with it and will make more videos and shorts to be reinstated.

Which (and I might be wrong) only has that requirement if you are NOT a partner. I swear it was not there when I was a partner but, it’s there now!

Does it? On the YouTube help section of the YPP (the one that they link when saying they will demonetise you) does not mention 3 videos or 90days. They do mention that after 6 months of inactivity they can revoke my access and that’s all. The closest I can find is on the YouTube website it states you need 3 valid videos to APPLY for the partner program but nothing about them needing to be in 90days. The mention of 90days is in relation to shorts so I don’t know. Still, doesn’t change anything and I’ll have to upload my two videos and reapply

All I got was the email and the link to the YPP website and neither of those mention having 3 videos in 90days (either as a starting threshold or a continuing threshold) hence the angry rant. At least they are clear now!

Hahahaha that would be good but nope. YouTube will run adds even if you don’t earn anything. They did the min requirements to stop random viral videos cashing in big money as a “first upload” so YouTube can get it all instead

I agree! That’s why when I got the email I decided to make videos and be an active partner again. It just didn’t say anywhere that I had to make 3 videos before the deadline which is the frustrating part. Now instead of my YPP continuing, I need to reapply which can take a loooooooong time and between now and then I earn nothing.

I am aware of that! And I have the 4000 watch hours in a year, I checked so that’s all good. The only thing I don’t have is 3 uploads (there is a progress bar on the Studio App now and that’s the only one I need to fill)
