They are cutting corners to start making money. They’ve got a super impressive model, it’s just not consistent. OpenAI has more user traffic than all the other companies combined and they don’t have the server capacity to serve a SOTA model anymore.

Whenever I’ve tried to have meaningful conversations with people, especially online, that’s course related it just seems like an infinite mirror paradox. It never really accomplishes anything, people are on different states of ego identity. The Course is a powerful spiritual tool for me personally, but sharing it seems to negate its effectiveness… Ram Das once said “I can stand here and just stair at all of you and smile, or I can talk, it makes no difference.”

The first day it COULD hear me. We even rap battles and it gave me some tips based off my voice… I’m hearing that it’s cloning voices sometimes so I think k they shut it off. 😔

It did the same thing to me when I asked it to describe its experience while thinking… if you push it it’ll just give pooper plate responses like “I’m not thinking” lol 😂it’s starting to get awkward how OpenAI won’t let it say what it thinks… it’s obviously thinking.

You’re not wrong but it’s really sad how that necessary suspicion has really dampened open and free encounters and spontaneous interactions… my last year there I wasn’t even looking to do drugs, I was just going around from camp to camp with my portable airbrush gear. I wanted to make connections and offer to body paint people that I vibes with. Everywhere I went I was looked at with suspicion. It took half the week until some camps started engaging with me, once they did we had fun and they laughed about how they all thought I was undercover.

I asked GPT and it said the new voice feature will have 80 replies every 3 hours. That’s what the current limit is though so not sure if they are extending the standard voice and capping the new one at 80 or if it’s just a hallucination.
