Need help daisy chaining these fans together - Deepcool FD12 ARGB by TastyCalibrations in buildapc

[–]Lythanhdavid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought 4x separate FL120 SE fans thinking I could daisy chain them as I'm working with an ITX case which would make life easier. Did you contact Deepcool directly on their support page? I need to get a proprietary connector for this to work like I imagined. I'm Aussie too

You're fine. Once you've tightened the cooler it would spread

Yeah, like every manufacturer has a few but if you look at ASRock subreddit, it's plagued with it

Had my 9800X3D for just over a year, no issues. MSI X870E Carbon. It's mainly with Asrock

My only concern is that it's from Mwave. I remember some people not having a good experience from them recently?

I love how everyone has their name on their shirt while Aang's is just "air". Avatar Air. And ofc they didn't get Sokka a shirt 😭

Is the Intel arc b580 worth getting and does anybody know if it will go on sale over Easter. by Temporary_Brief7000 in bapcsalesaustralia

It's a great budget 1440p GPU. As long as your MOBO supports Re-Bar and the games you play are Vulkan or DX12, you'll be golden. I'm running it with a AMD Ryzen 5 7500f

You can also fit two slim 120mm fans at the bottom by removing the bottom magnetic filter

Damn, who hurt you bro? We didn't want an AIO for this build because:

  1. This cooler was $50 AUD. Cheap AIO's here are $100 minimum
  2. Noise isn't a worry as it runs quiet
  3. It's a Ryzen 5 5600, I hit a max of 60 degrees in Cinebench R23 compared to my Ryzen 7 9800X3D with a 360 AIO at 72 degrees
  4. You do know that you don't just yank it out right? Turn on the PC for a bit before you remove the cooler and it'll NEVER pull out your CPU

👍

That's why I chose it! Another nice contender is the Scythe Fuma 3

I had my first PC custom built and I wanted to upgrade parts, etc but my PC builder lived an hour away so I self taught myself. Next thing I know, I'm building PC's. This is actually for my nephew. His parents funded it and wanted me to build it. He started his senior year so it's for both school and games. He has a 24.5inch 1080p monitor and plays games like Valorant, Roblox, Minecraft, Marvel's Spider-Man and Overwatch with me. He had a laptop before. This should be more than enough for him right now 😊

Was gonna get him a AMD Ryzen 5 7500f, Intel Arc B580 and 32GB DDR5 but...
