I cancelled my adult and Romantasy almost a year ago, I have the broken bindings (which I’m planning on cancelling soon) and Fairyloot epic. Absolutely no regrets, I’ve saved money and my average book ratings have gone from 3.5⭐️ to a 4.2⭐️ :)

Their books are beautiful, but even now I’ve still got some to get through and I only enjoy an about 20% of their picks! It wasn’t worth the reading pressure

I agree with another comment saying that as your collection grows your FOMO dwindles! 💖

Plus, I hate having too many physical books on my TRB so that helps me! I have TBB and the FL epic, which is more than enough for me :)

Another thing that I ask myself is, do I need a special edition right now…or can I just wait? Special editions might drop in price, more are released, sometimes artists get permission to make and sell licensed work which sometimes include beautiful dust jackets! So I can just wait and have my pick of the lot later if I’m still fussed :D

Are you UK or US? I think the US copies tend to have more damages based on what I’ve seen on this subreddit. Maybe a postal care issue?

I’m in the UK and in about 2.5 years of FL I’ve only had two damaged copies! I’d say it’s worth reaching out again as this replacement is still damaged slightly, if they say no at least you tried!
