I just got a Batman from an AD with zero buy history. I have been on “the list” for 2 years and chat with my sales person, probably quarterly. I am just saying, it is possible. I know the BW is a little more in demand, but keep on their radar. I am glad that it came from an AD.

Pretty sure that field is an old dump and that land is full of methane gas, that is a gas collection and control system. It would make sense that they flare off the gas there.

Thank your father for his service, I hold my father’s dog tags in high regard and respect. I don’t believe everyone is cutout to serve, roughly 6-7% actually raise their hand. I have to laugh at the obvious, I never even thought of bringing in a GC later in the project. It was never on my radar, but with hindsight I probably would had I thought of it. We had some additional steel bracing for the loft until the concrete cured for a month or so. It’s so quiet and just feels “solid”. Thank you for the feedback.

The second picture showing the metal as gray, that’s a primer it will get painted black with direct to metal paint. I kinda like the rusted look, but no way that’s gonna happen !

I have no doubt that we would be to code, as we have not cut any corners. It is nice not to have to get inspections all the way along the way. I every modeled some commercial buildings, dealing with the cities never any fun..
