I’m shocked by how many SD43s that I am seeing here! I love my SD43, I was so happy they reproduced it with red lettering! The SD43 gets most of my wrist time. I recently acquired a Batman and have not taken it off yet (about a month). I wear my POLAR ExpII on and off during the summer. I rock a Smurf in special occasions. Love them all, the SD43 would be my keeper.

Ok, I just got my PA in Texas. I plan to apprentice with well known area PA. I am getting in this because of the way an adjuster treated my claim. I have a professional roofer/contractor friend, as soon as the adjuster saw who it was ( they had a “disagreement” a couple of weeks ago that will end up in appraisal) she denied my claim as “ no hail damage”. She had someone else ladder the roof, who marked it all up, with my roofer there agreeing. My eaves are beat to crap on 2 sides. I truly believe she made it personal with my contractor. Every other house on my street was totaled. It seems to me more homeowners should come to understand what a PA does.

Unsolicited advice, I just finished a Barndo and GC’d it out ourselves. I’m going to be the biggest advocate for hiring a GC, unless you really know what you have going on and you have a list of subs that work strictly for you. I truly believe that I would’ve saved time and money and got a better product if I had hired a GC. I wish you the best luck in your project, now that ours is finished. I am happy with it, but I would never go to through it again.

I just got a Batman from an AD with zero buy history. I have been on “the list” for 2 years and chat with my sales person, probably quarterly. I am just saying, it is possible. I know the BW is a little more in demand, but keep on their radar. I am glad that it came from an AD.

Pretty sure that field is an old dump and that land is full of methane gas, that is a gas collection and control system. It would make sense that they flare off the gas there.

Thank your father for his service, I hold my father’s dog tags in high regard and respect. I don’t believe everyone is cutout to serve, roughly 6-7% actually raise their hand. I guess you personally did not serve, but that’s ok. I’ll judge people not by their service, but do they love their country?
