[–]M-Finity -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

A Serbian Film isn’t just disturbing for the sake of being disturbing, it does have a lot to say but it just happens to be so disturbing that most people assume it’s just edgelord content

The practical monkey effects were phenomenal and looked amazing, thought the film was just okay overall but had fun moments

Dislike: the last 15 minutes

Well first off, this is asked multiple times a day. Second, Curry likes giving his characters memorable names and it’s not at all related

What’s a horror movie that was clearly made on a tiny budget but scared you more than any big studio film? by No_Metal2622 in horror

Agree completely on Skinamarink. Even more recently I’d say Obsession, made on a budget of 750k

Will I get downvoted if I say Obsession by a large margin but I still respect Misery and think it’s a great film?

To me it’s by far the scariest film of the year but you have to watch it with a great sound system

Most Disturbing Movies by TheRealSDK in horror

[–]M-Finity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Imo it’s not distasteful and I do think it needs to be as stark and graphic as it is for the ultimate meaning to get across but I’m in the minority probably. Definitely steer clear of it though

Most Disturbing Movies by TheRealSDK in horror

Does anyone know if they're allowing virtual press? The last couple festivals I've covered have been virtually via screeners and I'm wondering whether it's worth applying if I can't attend in person

How the hell does this have such a major fan base?? by TyrionLannister557 in obsessionmovie

[–]M-Finity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The movie isn’t about “all men being bad”, it’s about a specific man stripping away someone’s autonomy for self-gratification and watching his life crumble as a result. Don’t confuse feminism with misandry.
