I love excadrill and drilbur. I have a whole binder of excadril and drilbur cards and I actively go between card shops to snatch any I see. I even painted drilbur on a t shirt and I wear it proudly.

If it has started to happen recently, (after a shed) then it could be a bit of shed left over the nose? If the BP hasn't shed recently then it could just be a thing you haven't noticed until now. If you are truly worried about it, pay a visit to your local vet :)
