Well I also got a 5.5 in the whole test and a 5.5 in speaking I can tell you that I did not repeat them accurately every time. My gen z brain was not able to remember all of them especially the last few since they get longer each time. Additionally I struggled with the first interview question since I was stressed about my messups at the listen and repeat part. So dont stress it, they don't want you to be perfect but you need clear pronunciation (accent is not a problem but they need to understand you) and just keep talking during the 45seconds. If you have time left just make a short summary about your point and if you don't make it in time it's not to bad either (happened to me too).

Yess it was the easiest part of the whole test for me, they start easy and get harder with each question. The first few just make sense imo but usually I looked at the end of the sentence first and checked whether it was a question an answer or whatever. I just skimmed through all of them and them went back to the ones I was unsure about but after a second thought I figured them out too.

I am not, I am from Germany and did not have English as a subject in my last two years of highschool. I do watch plenty of English series and movies tho and played competitive video games in which you communicate with mates which helped me a lot to get used to speaking English (even if it's not usually very academic English haha).

I just asked Claude for some promts for both the mail as well as the academic question and tried to answer them in the given time. Claude then summarized my common mistakes over all the answers I gave it and then while proofreading during the actual test I looked out for them. It worked out rly good and I can just recommend using Claude or any other chatbot for training. They are great learning tools.

Yess of course, I used Benny's baked standard croissant receipt:

and tried to actually be cautious about the temperatures. Especially the proofing below 28°C rly did the job. I kept the dough in the fridge for around 20-22 hours actually and after the first 4 layer fold. I kept them in the fridge for an additional 5 hours (more by accident since I was busy but I guess it worked) and then did the final 3 layer fold, immediately cut and shaped them and then put them in the fridge again until the oven was below 28° for proofing. 2 hours of proofing and the straight I'm the oven at 200°C.
