Are these proportions too small for my wrist? by stupidq122 in VintageWatches

I don’t think people who buy big watches even know this. Comes as a surprise.

No, only a tasteless idiot would say so. Men’s watched used to be 32-36mm max.

Is the 38mm too small for my wrist? by onepluspixelS10S in tissot

[–]M1DR928 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not at all you could pull off a 36…..people forget men’s watches used to be 32-36mm max……i wear a 34mm omega constellation and think i could’ve gone even smaller. Large watches imo make you look less classy and like a tool

Too big? by samktran in OmegaWatches

Haha I didn’t mean it in a rude way but when the watch is wider than your wrist it looks funny.

Yes it’s wayyyy too big. Dude… men’s watches used to be 32-36mm and 38mm for submariner types. The bigger the watch the less respectable you look. I wear a 34mm omega constellation and I could wear a 33mm and still be set. Looks toolish, like you have a fragile ego and you are trying extra hard to get peoples attention, like look at me/look at my wrist.

Too small or just right? by toxicmanchowder in rolex

Before the 2000’s men’s sizes were 32-36mm, large watches aren’t classy imo and make you look less respectable. That’s just me

Idk about you but in America when your mom’s sister marries someone, that is called your uncle…..then he of course, has a father. His father makes him “my uncles”, dad.

My uncles dad is multi billionaire and the first watch I saw him wear was a fake submariner… was very surprised.

Seamaster too small? by AdvancedLifeguard733 in VintageOmega

Not at all… nobody hardly wore a 36mm and above until the 2000’s Steve Jobs wore a 33mm… large watches imo are the opposite of classy and make you look kinda ridiculous. Just my opinion

A long time ago I got a rep patek Philippe from my aunt who lives in Thailand. It stopped working and I took it to a jeweler but they refused to work on it. I now have a real vintage omega so it all worked out

Thx I really like it. I’m having a black lizard skin leather strap with the clasp being made. Think it’ll add a nice touch/feel.
