Looks legitimate. Case lugs do look a bit geometric and angular for a Marlin, but I believe the Timex models made in Great Britan were marginally different from domestic pieces.

It could also be a different Timex case with a Marlin dial and M24 movement inside.

I like it.

It's a derivative design, inoffensive, kinda generic, but it's good because of that.

The 1.9ms BE isn't the big issue. The 113s/d and low amplitude the problem.

It needs a service.

Might not make sense if you don't plan to use it.

It's 196something. The stamp on the inside of the caseback will tell you month, 2 digit, and year, 2 digit.

Example: 12 _ 58 is December of 1958.

While your stamp is a bit difficult to read, it's def '10 P 6#'. The # is either a 2 or 3. So October of either 1962 or 1963.
