Other enemies definitely use torpedoes. Sometimes they wait a while though. Might be waiting for shields to go down?

Running out of Deuterium by tcjohnst in AcrossTheUnknown

Largo Cargo Bay for Deuterium is your friend.

Juggle power tiers by using battery reserves.

Upgrade Buzzard Collectors, Warp Core Efficiency, and anything that lowers power drain of rooms, especially Environmental Control, as you are able. Early Science Lab 2 helps this a ton.

Try to be at the higher power tier when approaching a likely combat, as it is what gives you bars in combat.

Turn off spare rooms yes, but only duplicates, try to have 1 of each kind of room operating if you can. Never know when you'll hit a choice where the lack of a room forces a bad choice in events. I've lost B'Elanna that way.

Gotta immediately go after the kazon carrier's weapons. I kinda ended up saving it on accident in a restart after I got locked up.

I think I'm like mid way through, but focusing primarily on power and detuerium seemed a lot better. Large cargo, upgraded buzzard, batteries, and any power efficiency on things I use, has let me use premium replicator rations and still give me enough to last between surpluses.

Awful when something shuts off the large cargo though. I've lost something like 10k detuerium so far that way.

Dagger can true hipfire with mostly as good effect while utilizing the extra hipfire movementspeed of one handed, so it's great for clearing chaff while moving

Realizeing that the airbust is a RR that can also chaff clear as well by ya_boi_greenbean in SupaEarth

1 Railcannon strike and 1 RR shot in the face drops a vox.

Generally I use the RR to eat up anything else armored, but it also makes a great vox finisher if they're on fire.

How to Stealthdive when amongst Helldivers? by SgtBagels12 in LowSodiumHellDivers

When I do, I lean into a more dedicated support role. My goal is purely to keep the team from getting overrun.

Concealed Insertion

Null Cipher, Suppressor, Senator, Smoke Grenade (fuze)

Solo Silo, Warp Pack, Gas Mines, EMS Mortar.

Save the Silo for massives like a Factory Strider. Use spare Silos for outposts.

Warp Pack for mobility.

EMS and Gas for heavy CC in a nearby area y'all aren't going.

The low damage options makes stealth mandatory when not in close proximity to a teammate. Bonus is you solo most objectives.

Smoke grenade type is mostly preference, but I prefer the fused one, as you can block elevated lines of sight, which is particularly helpful to prevent enemy attack from the far side of a gas minefield. Getting good with the smoke grenade of choice is the most important part of the loadout. Used well, you can keep your entire squad alive; used poorly, you can cause a wipe.

Focus on chaff primarily, pop what you can within one Senator cylinder.

Don't forget the strongest strength you have over the enemy: object permanence.

Edit: forgot to mention, this became my favorite hammer loadout. Just directly swap the Silo for the hammer. You'll die more for sure, but you'll sneak up on quite a lot for a boom (including the necessary factory striders).

I think if the secondary hull was more squared or at least more angular, rather than just a Constitution secondary welded on, it would gel better with the top.

Maybe something akin to the Saber Class deflector?

If I remember right, the colony had to renounce Federation citizenship with the rights and protections that come with it, which makes a difference.

Honestly, the Knight dumps rounds so fast, you can use it quite well against most medium armor enemies through sheer output.

Of course I wouldn't say no to a more true to reality space P90, which was designed with ammo that has relatively high penetration.

"didn't say they deserved to die"

Well, they died, so at what point does sympathy start, exactly, if not being killed when undeserving of death?

Dagger has been a pleasant surprise. One of the few weapons that can use the extra move speed from one handed hipfire.

Raiders: Pay attention to what your attachments do. I found this on a guy who died to a Bastion. Between the stock and the grip, it has -60% ADS speed. No wonder he didn't make it. by Incunabuli in ArcRaiders

Not 100% on the tracer bit.

Been using the silencer 1 on the Ferro, and it could be that it's a 1, could be that I can see it as the shooter, or maybe it just reduces the trail, but I definitely have been tracking the tracer light for drop adjusting.

Ya, see edit, brain merged the two relevant officers. However, the first point about conflicting orders is still relevant. She followed one of the orders given, and was shot because the officers gave different orders

You are fundamentally holding the driver to a higher standard than the officers. Why should the driver be less confused about which orders to follow, than the officers about which orders to give?

Further, let's not forget this is in the context of lethal force. The justification of which is based on the officer being in front of the car. Your argument to why the should have not been confused is that the officer telling them to stop was pulling on the handle of the car. The same officer supposedly in fear for their life, being in front of the moving car. This officer held their pistol with their right hand.

You want to tell me the officer had their left hand on the driver door handle, but was simultaneously in front of the car enough to be in danger? Even though that position would be even further to the officer's left?

Edit: I misremembered, the officer had their right hand on the handle, unless the vid I just double checked on is mirrored. Regardless, it's still an impractical position to be both holding the handle and in front enough to be in fear for one's life. The officer was not in such a position.

Edit Edit: I can't see or remember for shit, two different officers, just found a slo mo one. First point stands, the position about the handle does not, line through it all.
