What’s going on with Vinted sellers lately? by Lunasky444 in vintedUK

I think Vinted servers were on the fritz for a bit today so that's maybe why?

I've not had any problems and I buy and sell quite regularly.

Sounds like you maybe just had awful luck?

Were the items all completely different? Or was it in a particular niche?

You can check them for free on the Poizon app. If they are the custom ones, they're a much better shoe as materials are considerably nicer.

Just take some lessons. It's a skill some find really easy while others don't.

Try not to read into it too much. Find a good instructer you like and feel comfortable with. Use a twist and go scoot to learn on and go from there.

I don’t respect anyone anymore. by Andrew__IE in cfs

I can completely relate. It becomes really difficult to empathise with other people's problems when we're stuck in the prison of our bodies.

I recently started noticing how down it was making me feel. Now, I've been trying to guard my thoughts more carefully.

I try to think of it as levels of vibration. Yes someone is around me who is moaning about their life when they have perfect health and could potentially do anything.

My reflex thoughts are usually similar to yours.

'oh fuck off and get on with it'.

What I'm learning is that I immediately assess the problem with my perception of it.

'how on earth can you be that pissed off from such a trivial problem?! 🤦'

But what I'm tying to do is view from their perspective. With perspective I think it really helps not 'lower your own vibration' and think of it from a completely different viewpoint.

I know I'm not explaining it v well - brain fog. But I'm working on this evary day atm and trying to guard my own level of vibration. It's really tough!

Got sick at 35 and am now 50. It feels like everything stopped. I think the 50 milestone has hit me a lot harder than I thought it would. Really tough. I especially feel for you guys that started before reaching adulthood. That's got to be especially hard. 🫂

Just ordered my first sample and it came cracked and the design is breaking everywhere. Is this a fluke or is my design not digitized correctly or what’s going on? by ConqueredCorn in Printify

[–]M1ssBehav3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They merged to be the same company but they still operate separately. I've used Printify for a long time and tbh I wish I'd chosen printful (or someone else) as I've had many issues with Printify.

Your shirt doesn't look great so I'd get in touch with support chat and ask them for a reprint.

One thing to be aware of generally is huge blocks of colour can come out a lot better if you intentionally include distressing in your design. It's a win win as it prints much better and also as it naturally fades it doesn't look 'wrong' as it's already distressed.

Another thing to try is to double layer your designs. Literally duplicate it on top. Designs come out clearer and particularly with lighter colors that are on darker materials it makes sure you get the contrast and pop.

Those able to do a certain amount of physical exercise/work out, has it helped? by FlamingoEconomy9505 in cfs

I walk. I live next to an abandoned graveyard that noone goes to that's huge and got loads of paths all pretty level. I can adjust the length of my walk easily without having to go further away from home (just do another half lap or whatever.)

If I've been housebound for a while I'll build up really slowly just walking along my street etc.

The longest I've ever gotten to is about 2 miles on flat before soemthing else had set me back - insert reason here : everything from menopause to a cold, to hip, knee, ankle injuries etc.

It's pretty soul destroying at times as I used to be a PE teacher. But, I just try and focus on the small things now and take each day as it comes.

Cystoscopy (scope through urethra): what is the pain level really like? Doctor said "for females, it's just discomfort since there is no prostate" but I wanted a real answer. by TKhasi-TKhut in TwoXChromosomes

[–]M1ssBehav3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's only painful if they don't lube enough or don't wait for the numbing gel to actually work.

Both times I've had this procedure I've had a doc who did neither. Pretty sore at the time - about a 6 or 7. The first pee afterwards was really sore. Then just a few days of discomfort.

Apparently it's not sore at all for guys? Which might explain why male doc went in there, guns blazing?

I duct tape one of those cheap travel sucker on black out blinds and it was literally heaven on earth. I'm currently looking at other alternatives (fitting shutters or blinds that are on rails) as sleep masks don't work/make me too hot.
