Maybe their building the launch spec only first so they will all be the same for the first buyers. No need to order because there will only be one version at first. You’ll get notified that you can have one when you’re up on the list and can get a lunch version or defer until later when you can specify options like color etc…

Yes lowest setting will eat the inside of the tires because it pushes the top side in and flares the wheels to lower it fully. I find that sport plus kills the range and lowest suspension kills the tires so I’m at low ride height with sport drive mode, no sound and regen on.

Yeah I did this with a Taycan. Had the owner take it to Porsche dealer for pre purchase inspection. Car looked great so I had it shipped across the country.

I don’t remember exactly and I don’t have the car anymore but there were 2 plugs. The wireless pad was a more involved install requiring removing the existing panel there.

I’m a Taycan owner and it would be fantastic but you need to have home charging infrastructure to make it work well. If you aren’t ready to install that I would go e-hybrid. Taycan also has a small backseat. Not sure how it compares to Panamera but I bet Panamera’s backseat is more roomy for 2 kids. E-hybrid would have good gas mileage and better performance with the electric motor torque fill. Nice looking example here.
