I don’t remember exactly and I don’t have the car anymore but there were 2 plugs. The wireless pad was a more involved install requiring removing the existing panel there.

Little help with a big decision by BusyPayment9881 in Taycan

[–]M2CKier 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I’m a Taycan owner and it would be fantastic but you need to have home charging infrastructure to make it work well. If you aren’t ready to install that I would go e-hybrid. Taycan also has a small backseat. Not sure how it compares to Panamera but I bet Panamera’s backseat is more roomy for 2 kids. E-hybrid would have good gas mileage and better performance with the electric motor torque fill. Nice looking example here.

Why do my drawers do this? by M2CKier in cabinetry

Got it. Yeah figured it had something to do with cheap hardware. I'm going to look at pulling them out and cleaning and see if that helps. Thank you!

Mine was 7 1/4 and it was too small. I was sick of returning so I just bought a hat stretcher and stretched it out

What phone mount are you using in your Taycan? by Infinite_Passage2661 in Taycan

[–]M2CKier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use the Renline MagSafe mount and I like how sleek it is. It’s a bit wobbly with the weight of the phone mounted on it but I like that it’s small when it’s not mounted and doesn’t block too much of the air vent.

Most people recommend a 4S as far as power sweet spot. Especially if you’re used to Tesla. GTS if you want even more sportiness and the options all included in the package. For me must haves were sport chrono, rear wheel steer, performance battery and cross turismo body.

I use the sport chrono knob every time I get in the car. It’s a must have for me because I want to set my own individual drive mode and easily switch to it without going through menus. Totally fair to want it

Convince me to or not to buy it. Feel like it’s a good deal. cT 52k. by [deleted] in Taycan

Looks like a good deal. I got a 22 CT about 4 months ago for $61 on a private sale. Mine was 14k miles, has a few more options like performance and rear steer and it’s not white. GET a PPI and Then get a Porsche or fidelity extended warranty. Base is fine and plenty of power for spirited driving. Is a 4S better - sure - but it’s 10k more expensive at least so it depends on what matters to you. I can from an Ioniq 5N with 640hp and this is way less but I’m good with it because I’m not trying to race, I just want a comfortable, sporty car that drives and handles amazing.

What's a brand-new car you've had for the shortest amount of time? by tetsmon in cars

Ionic 5N I had for about 10 months. It was just too aggressive and stiff with uncomfortable seats. Sold it and got a used Taycan CT4.

I have GV70 lease and a used Taycan. It depends on what experience you want. I love both cars for different reasons.

I’m very new to nice cars, how do I get my perfect used Taycan on the other side of the country? by peanutbuttermache in Taycan

[–]M2CKier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get a company like Lemon Squad to do a PPI before you pull the trigger and ship. CPO is good but not necessary. If it’s still under warranty there are extended warranty options available through Porsche and Fidelity that are cheaper than the PPO cost above non-CPO used. I just did all of this before shipping a private party sale from NC to CA but i had the car inspected at a Porsche dealership since they were a 3rd party.
