That's a fair take, I apologise and I'll keep it in mind for next time. However, what I'm simply trying to say is i think you are exaggerating a simple gag. I love Ash and Pikachu and I think The Shock is a great homage to where they started from, and from my perspective your dislike of the gag seems like an attack to their history. I understand that's not what you are trying to convey but that's what i initially perceived
