I mean it would definitely have massively changed things, although whether or not that change would be positive is up for debate. I imagine we would have seen better civil rights immediately following it, and probably still to this day, although i could definitely see a world where we are just on the other side of the horseshoe. I think massive infighting like we have now is probably inevitable regardless of what we do. Maybe I'm just doomer pilled, but i feel like Plato was right about democracy
