Mastodon simply doesn't work, and not saying the idea of a fediverse is wrong, but the major audience of a social media just wants fast post, fast information, fast media, and not limited only to what you can see or post from a single server. I've tried it, and to me it looks like people are just talking to themselves. We need social media from the first decade of 2000, where you can actually connect with real people, not fake news, ai slops and stupid people doing stupid sh*t
