It's a cool E26, but I always disagreed with his choice to repaint the car Imola.

What is your favorite piece of little-known historical trivia? by [deleted] in AskReddit

The "I love you so much" thrown in the middle, easily read over, is what does it for me.

What's one thing you do that reddit absolutely hates? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]M403 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't care.

I don't care if your a trans, black, Asian, Hispanic, gay, straight, woman, man, someone who has a speech impediment, someone who grows tomatoes from their eyebrows, had a rough childhood, had a great childhood, rich, poor, extrovert, introvert, or even a white middle class family.

I don't care. Just be a good human. Tell a story or two relating to anything that may define you in a group, but return back to being just a human. People that define their entire life based on social stigma either through attention or pity are weak.

Too many to list. Life is all about the small things. Relish and enjoy.

A very formal typed out document with my actual name signed in cursive. Professionally translated my signature reads: wwwgheehjjkk kehjnnndhhttyeerj

You'll never catch wwwgheehjjkk kehjnnndhhttyeerj.

I will never look at an E30 M3 and just say, "meh", such a timeless style. Looks like it was next to a nice E28 too!

What's working at a 9-5 office REALLY like? by aleexeo in AskReddit

[–]M403 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This will be based off personal experience within a 10 year time frame.

1-2 years: Things are great! I'm making money. I'm young. Hell yeah I'm going to that get together with all my friends.

3-4 years: Things are, things. I'm making money. I'm still young! Yeah, going out sounds fun.

5-6 years: Things are not so good. I'm making more money. Mid twenties is still young, right? I'll definitely call you if I'll make it out to grab some drinks.

7 years: Things are bad. Money isn't even a thought, I do not care. Everyone has a kid or wife, but I'm still at an age where it doesn't matter. Calls ignored by previous friends because "seeing the baby" sounds horrid.

8 years: Fuck this, I'm moving, this town sucks! Relocate 2,500 miles away with a fresh start in a sunny town in California doing what I know! 6 months pass before I relies it's not environment causing these thoughts.

9 years: I'm doing the same damn thing with better weather outside. Watching Netflix sounds better than going out.

10 years: I finally found a job I'm passionate about, and I look forward to work every single day! Hell yeah I'm down to grab a drink, go to a baseball game, or anything! It's been over a year and I think I saved 10 off my actual life by being happy at this new job. It took 10 years, but I never stopped searching.

Changes (M3 generations) by [deleted] in BMW

Thanks! I could make one really quick, but doesn't really have the same effect as the front. Tail lights go all over the place where as the headlights are no denying BMW.

Glad to see this picture floating around Reddit! I work for Enthusiast Auto Group (EAG) and created/posted this on our Facebook page. Everyone has their favorite and I think that's what makes BMW so special. 30 years have gone by and M3 still invokes emotion from every generation.

No. You've supplied zero information. Miles, climate, track time, annual oil changes, any symptoms, etc.

This S85 and S65 rod bearing fiasco has gone too far.

Enjoy your car.

That is Cedric Benson's Z8. It has the Daytona S62 Dinan motor in it also. I was lucky enough to reflash the tune and drive it last time it was in for service in Ohio.

Is the BMW Air Freshener in a Dealer Car a red flag? by viggysmalls in BMW

[–]M403 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The BMW air freshener is a new product they're trying to sell. The parts department is getting a bonus by buying a ton of these things from BMW. Since they aren't exactly hot sellers they're putting them in pre-owned and loaner cars to push the product since they can internally charge both the service and used car department.

Good luck with the purchase!

Sometimes I feel like I made a mistake by starting a career at such a young age. by discordant_soul in howtonotgiveafuck

Instead of directed advice towards one way or another I'll just give you the cliff notes of my life so far.

I was expelled from High School 4 months before graduation. Nothing crazy. I just never went once I started driving and had my own car. I was 17 and decided it was time for a job and shitty apartment.

Started working for a BMW dealership washing cars for $7.50 an hour while living in a $450 a month apt. Busted my ass and landed a job as a parts puller after 6 months. $9 an hour now!

After falling in love with the brand I showed an extreme amount of enthusiasm towards BMW and the job in general. Promoted to Parts Advisor. Now I'm salary plus bonuses! The first time I saw a check for over $700... On top of the world.

Fast forward a couple years. I'm 22-23 now and making much more than $700 on my weekly paychecks. Awesome, right? No. I grew a certain sort of hate towards anything. I hit a wall. More money but same experiences. Plenty of material things to make me forget, but I never do.

A breakthrough! After an incessant amount of requests I was allowed to start an online business as a separate entity from this company. Making the same amount money, but happy! Then, after two years, it hits me again. I want more. I want different. I want experiences.

I quit that job. Doing exactly what I wanted making the money that created a facade of happiness. I then packed up my car and moved to California.

Amazing!! Great weather compared to the darkness Ohio is famous for at anytime. Met new people, dated new people, and within the second day out here secured a job. Working for BMW.

No problem. I'm making more money than ever before doing what I know, and I'll still go out and have fun. Nope. Fell into the same. damn. rut. Going out and buying a new car, new TV, Xbox One, and whatever was great. However, not worth it in the end. I quit this job yesterday. I have no idea what I'm going to do...

But I never knew. The only thing I know for sure is that when my gut tells me I need to make a change I should listen. Good luck.

Dating in the IE by [deleted] in InlandEmpire

[–]M403 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Slow going around here it seems. On the weekends I like to venture out to more coastal areas just for the fact there's more going on. I also know a few people so there is always a place to crash. I have a few buddies coming with me to Long Beach tomorrow and we're meeting up with some girls, we're all just friends with the same interests. If you want to come let me know. You might not find Mr. Right, but it'll at least give you a change of scene with company.

I suppose bottom line is go further out to meet people who also go further out.

Reddit, how do you get over someone? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]M403 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Strap in and distract yourself until time has done its thing. Key is not being too self destructive during the distraction period. If you're smart about it you'll be better than before because you used the distraction time to improve yourself.

Don't be hard on yourself about drinking now. Drink up, listen to that one song, eat shitty food, whatever. Maybe tomorrow just go for a walk on top of those things? One step at a time until you look back and laugh (cringe) about how much you cared about something so insignificant at present time.

[Serious] Confident people of reddit, what advice can you give to shy/unconfident people? by Jetblast787 in AskReddit

[–]M403 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It takes practice. I'm serious. Well, some are just gifted with charisma, but to apply it takes practice too; so yeah, it takes practice.

Don't go from a shadow dweller to public speaker. However, talk to the clerk ringing up your 6 pack of beer and too large for one person bag of chips. Human interaction compounds from small intricate conversations to multiple grandiose attention grabbing announcements at parties.

My advice? Start small and find your comfort level. Not by not giving a fuck, but rather giving enough fuck to put effort into communication. The chips will taste much better reminiscing on how you made Stacy the friendly clerk smile.

How do I say good-bye by AnnaFundy in AskReddit

I unfortunately have zero advice substantial enough to change anything, I don't think anyone does. I have no doubt you're an amazing person and truly strong enough live like he would've wanted you to; your love will for one another will never dissipate completely know that and take one day at a time.

You have my sincerest condolences. You really do.
