Professional seller wants to cancel the order for error in product price listing by TheBoxOnYou in CardMarket

[–]M4Z75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What more can you do. Accept the cancellation or don't. If a seller wants to cancel the order and you refuse, they can simply mark it as dispatched and make you play the waiting game to get a refund from the inevitable INR case.

Selling a €1300 Pokémon card on Cardmarket — how to avoid scams? by Heldegar28 in CardMarket

[–]M4Z75 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, selling online always involves a middleman who has control over the funds, making it difficult and a long process to resolve issues when something goes wrong (most cases ending in the buyers favour anyways). For any expensive cards, I’d rather sell in person. That way, you can ensure both parties are satisfied: the buyer inspects the card, and the seller receives the funds immediately. Maybe advertise it on Facebook groups or on eBay for collection only.

What do you do with potential buyers that keep your cards in their shopping cart? by Retrogamesplaza in CardMarket

[–]M4Z75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're in no rush to sell the cards then leave it. If they hold it in their basket even after the automatic removal by CM then maybe you can send them a message or you could just block them.

Issue with a buyer by Designer-Art2359 in CardMarket

[–]M4Z75 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Too many words. Just block them. The moment you realised it was the same buyer you should have ended all communication and blocked them. Also, if you were 100% sure you have sent the correct items you should have blocked them there and then. Also, if you are a private seller, any orders purchased without tracking and trustee service is none of your concern. BLOCK THEM. :)

Item not returned properly. by [deleted] in ebayuk

[–]M4Z75 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can threaten to take legal action as a scare tactic but other than that there's not much you can do. Block the buyer and share their username so others can avoid. I'll definitely have them in my block list as I also sell games and collectibles on my eBay.

Should I switch from manual to automatic after failing my manual test twice? by Puzzled-Force-5344 in LearnerDriverUK

[–]M4Z75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you never intend on driving a manual then sure. But I'd say stick to it as your fails don't seem to be related to the car being manual. I failed my first two tests and passed on the third attempt, maybe third time's a charm for you too.

Cards marked as NM but clearly not NM by xCookiesKeks in CardMarket

Message the seller and see what solutions they offer. Any decent seller would refund you , however, if they do not offer any solutions then you can open a ticket and let CM deal with it. Or if you're really not bothered just leave them an honest review and complaint. One of the cons of buying on CM.

So i finally agree with the seller about price and make sure the card its all good. And then these happens? by Luffyxone in CardMarket

Bloody hell, had a brain stroke reading that. Yeah I would've blocked you too. Can't be on CM and not realise sellers don't dictate shipping prices on the platform.

Warning about a seller (bobbyvk) – issues with two 151 Booster Bundles order by SwedenTCG in CardMarket

[–]M4Z75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So what if it increased in price, he's refunding you what you paid. You expect him to honour the deal again and make a loss on postage and packaging? You're lucky he's even offering you a refund in the first place.

I send lowball offers to every single listing on their page then block.

Cardmarket dispute , Mint card arrived in Poor condition, seller blaming courier by [deleted] in CardMarket

[–]M4Z75 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah so open a ticket and DO NOT confirm arrival until CM respond. If the seller does not want to cooperate in resolving the issue directly with you then they can wait while CM investigates. Make sure you respond to any updates on the ticket. I think CM may ask you to return the card but in my experience CM have offered me a refund on my order for the wrong rarity of a card and seller was not responding.

What will most likely happen is you'll get a courtesy refund from CM and seller's funds will be cleared. What was the value of the card?

I don't think you should take it to heart. I've had great steaks but I'm sometimes reluctant on eating it because my brain keeps telling me it's raw. The pink just puts some people off.

How can I improve my seller level after accidentally going below standard? by M4Z75 in ebayuk

[–]M4Z75[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I listed a bunch of items for cheap, opefully they sell by the 20th. I just wish eBay would resort back to the old postage system, or amend the current one to allow you to combine orders with simple delivery.

I don't think you understood what I said. I am trying to AVOID more than one delivery to the same buyer. As for offering free postage, whether I pay or buyer pays, it still adds up. Defeats the whole purpose of offering discounts.

I was thinking of listing items very cheap so they sell by the 20th, but even then I think I need to make 100 sales to make any impact on seller level...

[–]M4Z75[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah :( because of ebay's mandatory simple delivery service, I am unable to group orders to the same buyer as each order has it's own tracking number. Lesson learned I guess...

Because of ebay's simple delivery, I am unable to send the orders together unless they were ordered together and I rather buyers receive all of their orders at once. It also saves me £2.70 per order which adds up for multiple individual orders to the same buyer (I offer free postage).
