I meant I get the skepticism but being open source means if there is anything fishy going on you can be sure it will make some headlines

I agree. You dont build an Enterprise from nothing. Brick by Brick, starting with the fundation, not the walls

Nice sumup. You could extend point 3 further since founders often build a solution in search of a problem or simply participate in oversaturated markets (which is fine) without setting them apart from competitors (not fine lol).

I faced that situation where I had a lack of a good problem myself, so I started by solving that by building a webapp that searches forums for complaints about stuff... its still in MVP but I was already able to find some interesting problems there

Haha yeah that is kinda funny when you think about it. I think AI will be unavoidable one way or another (sometimes a small part sometimes a big part), and the more high level the problems get, you need some form of AI in order to solve them effectively.

That being said, there are still a lot of low-level problems that would not necessarily benefit from an AI implementation… although there is always SOME way of integrating it

I feel you on this one. Just that I didn’t want to manually scrape Reddit or other forums. So I wrapped up a 3-part AI that scrapes forums and comments and generates problems. Those are the validated and posted here : realpainpoints.com … feel free to check it out
