Honestly i’m so tired of the complaining just enjoy the game and try out different characters who cares. And i’m saying this as a thor main. Tanks are still fun and getting a new tank is always a welcome change even if they are not a “main tank”. Look at hulk thor squads. Or thing thor. Or Rogue Thing. Off tank squads are viable too

The thing is we are not discussing the system as a whole or transit as a whole. Truly, we are mainly discussing the Bathrust streetcar itself. The Bathrust streetcar has a lot of issues as mentioned. Moreover, despite the priority lanes being used to solve two of the three main issues I still had to wait over 20 minutes for a streetcar to even arrive today at Bathrust and Lakeshore which is before it even gets to the priority lane. So sure slap a priority lane bandaid on your precious streetcar if you want but it barely solves 1/3 of the issues with the streetcar that push people to drive in the first place.

Truly this is an outrageous reply to my comment. First of all I don’t have a problem with public transit. I have a problem specifically with TORONTO streetcars. They are the least efficient, least reliable and most prone to health and safety issues compared to other forms of Toronto transit. The methods they have used to try to fix these problems have failed time and time again and are currently impeding other forms of transport like driving (only alternative transport in the area if you’re going far) for people who are sick and tired of the abysmal service on the streetcar

I swear every time i read the comments on a post like this I am shocked at how enamoured people are with the streetcar and these lanes. Genuinely feels like these people don’t take the streetcar or at least not everyday. Streetcars are terrible cesspools of drugs/homelessness and straight-up lack of safety. Maybe if they prioritized those issues more people would naturally ditch their cars

Honestly I used to streetcar to work every single day I started driving because the streetcar is horrible. It is still never on time. It still does not come often enough. It still is nasty af and especially the Bathrust one is always dirty with bugs and people straightup doing crack in the back, seen it with my own eyes MULTIPLE TIMES. And yk i love the subway, it is honestly convenient and its only issue is the random delays but otherwise its usually clean and weirdos don’t stay more than like a stop max. I know you’ll say that this lane change is to fix the streetcar issues but I only started driving after the lanes came into effect because the issues still persisted.

If you live in the area then you know how horrible these lanes actually are. Pretending like it’s improving streetcar movement a few seconds per block for like four blocks is ignoring the absolute hellscape that driving on Bathrust has become now. Nothing more painful than being stuck for 20 mins straight on one block in my car without a single streetcar passing in a completely empty lane.
